I was impressed by this place on my first visit. I’m glad that such a place exists in Tulsa and hope it continues to serve as a launching place for future homegrown artists.

Love the Hardesty Arts Center. Became a member so I can go to their great events and members also get a discount on the art classes offered. Started going to their classes Fall 2014. I’m an artist and illustrator and am soaking up all of their great classes they have to offer. I feel like I am their«groupie»! Started out with screen printing classes with John. Then I have taken digital photography, photoshop, and typography with Natalie. Their instructors are top notch and we get to learn hands on. Their classes are small so we get lots of attention. I learned more in Natalie’s 6 hours of digital photography instruction(2 days of 3 hours each of class) than I did in a TCC class that lasted a couple of months. Their classes are usually held on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon or a weeknight, so very easy for people to work in their schedule. I just went to the Unilocal Elite AHHA Springtime Soirée event last week and got a tour of the Arts Center along with drinks, food and fun with other Unilocal Elites. I loved the art gallery-the exhibit was«Intertwined» featuring North American Indian Art from artists Shan Goshen and Sarah Sense. Very impressive. My husband was with me at the event and they mentioned the Choctaws helped the Irish during the Irish famine and my husband remembered the memorial they had at the Dublin, Ireland airport thanking the Choctaw Indians. So it was a neat tie in! Along with the great classes offered and exhibits, the AHHA is also a great venue for a wedding, reception or just a fun party! Such pretty spaces and architecture. Love the grassy area, the exhibit area and the rooftop. Very impressed with the AHHA!

Love this space. I haven’t seen a show here that I didn’t like. They also contribute to arts in public schools, which I like.

Went to the Hardesty Arts Center to view the model for A Gathering Place for Tulsa. What a great addition to downtown and the Brady Arts District! I’m very excited about AGPT, but it was also good to see the exhibits at AHHA. The Fiberworks exhibit is on until the 25th. Check it out.
