The worst company ever. My security system stopped working in June, I called to tell them that I would be using another company. Someone from the customer service department called and wanted to give me a credit for three months if I would keep the service. I told them no 3 or 4 times no that I did not want the service. They have continued to take money from my checking account. I would never recommend this company to anyone, all they want is your money. I will be sending a letter to the BBB. Maybe they can help me get my money back.

STOP!!! DONOTUSETHISCOMPANY! This is a terrible company. I never leave poor reviews, but I am trying to prevent others from dealing with this horrible company! They do NOT care about their customers or good service. They are greedy and unethical. They tell you something completely different when they sell you their service. Then they hide stuff in fine print without disclosing it orally. I can’t use their alarm system any longer but will be charged for 10 more months!!! They say they renew yearly NOT monthly after their 3 year contract is up! And if you move or are unable to use it, they still charge you!!! It’s unethical what they do. Terrible terrible business practices! Loads of lies. And failure to disclose. SAVEYOURSELFSOMEGREIF! Don’t use them. Find a ethical company who cares about their employee!!! If I could give zero or negative stars, I would!

Horrible! The worst! We had this company for a few years at home and the office. We’ve cancelled both because the customer service is NONEXISTENT! No one answers calls. It’s impossible to get help. Terrible!

Had this company for years. I got tired of the continued rate hikes and switched to simplisafe, which doesn’t have contracts. When I tried to cancel with guardian, they said I had to give them 30 days advance notice to cancel, and charged me for an additional month after that. I called and complained, but they said I signed a contact(over5 years ago) and that they must have advanced warning. Interesting that the ‘contract’ allowed them to increase the price monthly without asking me first. I brought this up, and the rep immediately said he would talk with a supervisor. They refunded my 27 dollars. I would suggest going with another company.

I never write reviews but made an exception for this company. Their incompetence, greediness and business practice are really hard to find. Horrible customer service, the response rate to alarms is 50%, the contracts are impossible to cancel. Stay away from them. If you still decide to go with them make sure to read all small prints in your contract to make sure you understand what you getting yourself into.

Ripoff company. They use strong arm tactics and renew contracts if very specific criteria aren’t met. I sent letter 46 days before the end of the contract stating I was canceling service. They said they didn’t get the letter, and that I should have sent it certified mail. How did they know I didn’t send it certified(I didn’t, but since they stated that they probably had the letter in front of them). Search the Internet for guardian alarm scam, you’ll find similar stories from other people. It isn’t often that I would give anyone just one star, but if anyone is deserving, it is these people.
