Electric Circus can a hit or miss. First time I was there, the DJ only played techno music and when my friends and I requested a song, they made a very public announcement on the mic that«we don’t play that top 40 shit so you can go somewhere else». We decided it give it another try last night. The DJ was much better. He played pop, r&b, and techno(not great with transitions but then again, you can’t expect much in Tulsa).

Electric Circus brings back fond memories of my college years. It’s an interesting place, to say the least. It’s not the fanciest club and there is(to put it nicely) an eclectic group of patrons. I’ve been here before, but brought an out-of-town friend here to party one night. We had a really fun time — it can be difficult to work your way to the bar, but that’s a sign of a fun club! I’ve only had beer and white Russians here — the beer was cold and the white Russian was pretty tasty. What more could I ask for? There’s an enormous dance floor that’s often pretty crowded. Electric Circus plays techno music with an appropriate level of bright colored lights swirling around. Also, they have a live DJ(actually, several) which really livens up the experience. The last thing I’ll mention is that Electric Circus is next to Enso. Enso is a pretty calm bar during waking hours but can get pretty wild once Electric Circus gets going. Once it’s late, you can go between bars because they’re connected. Overall, this club in the heart of blue dome is pretty cool. If you’re young at heart, this place can show you a good time.
