Just had Rex’s Chicken (Coney Beach was renamed apparently) & it was fantastic! I had the Jalapeño Chicken with fried okra. Pretty much the only thing else I could have asked for was some buffalo sauce.
All in all, I’d say it’s best chicken I’ve had in a long time.

Now known as Rex’s Chicken, this place is perfectly mediocre. I actually preferred it when it was Coney Beach because they had Pennington Onion Rings which were the second best onion rings I’ve ever had. Now it’s all about the chicken, which isn’t necessarily bad, but I’d really like more variety than 1) chicken chunks with fries or 2) spicy chicken chunks with fries. And the fries are barely worth mentioning because all they do is sit there and taste bland next to the wonderment of the Rex’s Chicken Chunks.
