I went to Club Rio for the 1st time with a friend to see what all the talk was about. NOTE: I have never been to the restaurant during the day. Depending on your vibe & what type of music you enjoy the reviews on Club Rio will definitely vary. So take note that someone who dislikes the club may not like the things you like. Anyhow, the night we went there was a DJ that mainly played hip-hop & R&B music. There was a good selection & I definitely had a good time. HOWEVER, the pricing of drinks were WAY to high. Drinks they had for $ 9 I get back home for $ 3. I bought 2 drinks totaling $ 17 just to see if they were worth it. In my opinion NO, therefore I will not be buying drinks from Rio. Drink at home & have a designated driver before coming. Furthermore, I noticed a lot of 18& under kids trying to use fake IDs to get in. I believe they should have 18+ &21+ only nights. Will I return? Maybe.

Never eaten at Rio. But I’ve gone to the club many times before. A couple years back they had a great DJ and played a good selection of reggaeton, Cumbia, salsa etc. Music is what really makes or breaks a club you know? We had a lot of fun! Well I took my husband there recently and we were so disappointed. Definitely has gotten ghetto. Horrible music & remixes & just honesty dirty all around. Spilled drinks on the dance floor, ppl acting a mess, no soap in bathrooms etc Not even two hours of being there, a fight broke out right next to us. Arg. We were done and left early. Que Pena.

My husband and I went to Rio’s to try something different. Its hard to find real authentic Mexican food without feeling like you don’t belong there. I love their Torta Sandwich AMAZING! And my husband loves their Fajitas. They have Orchata(not sure if thats how its properly spelled) it is a cinnamon rice flavored water thats amazing! If you haven’t went there, then stop by and enjoy a great view of the water fountain while you eat and the feel of being in a cave like surroundings.

Love the atmosphere but our trip consisted of milky tea… Followed by flat pop then fajitas with tortillas that were stuff as a board. I’ve waited tables and don’t usually say too much but had to voice that our drinks were disgusting after that didn’t see our server again, instead another gentleman waiting on another table serviced us. Then after waiting for someone to notice we were done we had to go to the front to pay. The place has SOMUCH potential to be such a great place. Pure laziness.

Working very close to RIO my job orders from there a lot for lunch. Restaurant by day, night club by night! If you do not know Spanish you will defiantly have trouble ordering :) Last time we ordered lunch from RIO they didn’t know what the heck we were doing and messed up our lunch order completely. A coworker called back and gave the TOGO person our order again and they tried to charge us an additional 100 dollars added on to our original order. So she got the manager on the phone and told them to come pick up the food and give us our money back. The manager then came over to our place of business to apologize and to give us our correct food. We will NOT be ordering from there again for lunch! Too all over the place.

I went there for the first time today. Good, simple Mexican food in a place full of nostalgia. You should try it out.

Just found this place looking for Menudo. The soup was very flavorful & awesomely generous with the portion of meat* Will definitely be back!
