We walked in at 5pm and watched them sit a 3-top. The hostess asked how many and when we informed her that we had 7 she told us she couldn’t seat any parties that large until after 8pm. It was my family and my brother’s family. We told her we were able split up and she told us that would still be considered a party and she couldn’t seat us. I asked if I had walked in with just my family and asked for a table of 4 if she would seat us, and she said yes. We told her that we were two different families and we would like two different tables. She said she would be right back. After a few minutes, a different person returned, introducing herself as the manager and said that her remaining open tables were for reservations and it would be half an hour before she could seat us, which we agreed to. After she left, we noticed an empty table in the bar area and four seats at the bar. At no time did anyone invite us to wait in the bar and order drinks and appetizers. They didn’t make us feel welcome at all. We were in town for an event and purposely arrived several hours early for food and drinks. We just moved to OK and hope to make more trips to the city, but we won’t be returning here.

To be positive, the waitress was super nice and accommodating. I just didn’t think the food was all that, to put it nicely, and it was too expensive. My salmon seemed overcooked and dry. So disappointing. Friend said the catfish was really not good at all. If I’m in the mood for comfort food, I’d just go elsewhere. Other friend said the cheese fries were awesome, but it’s hard to mess up cheese fries, eh? End take is that this is a place I would only go for a beer but not dine.

Didn’t want to wait for an hour and a half at The Tavern so we walked across the street to try Caz’s. We were able to walk in and get a table at the bar without having to wait, which was great since everywhere was so packed and we had a concert to get to. I have heard a lot of great things about Caz’s and for the most part it lived up to it’s reputation. Neither my Girlfriend or I were super hungry, so we decided to split an appetizer and an entrée. We had the Spinach Artichoke Dip and the Pork Sliders with Okra. The Spinach Dip was a large portion and had a great flavor. The Pork Sliders are served on Caz’s rolls with a spicy slaw. There was a good balance of spice and the portions were heaping. The main reason for the 4 star rating is that nothing was particularly hot. The Spinach Dip was a degree above room temperature and the Pork on the sliders was even more cool. The restaurant has good atmosphere and the service was good. The prices were also good. Our meal(with 2 drinks) came to just over $ 20.

Service was slow and they were not busy. We had to walk up to the bar to get our own drinks because our waitress barely checked on us. Our chips, queso and salsa sat in the kitchen for a good 10 minutes before we received its resulting in cold queso. The only reason for the 3 stars is my actual meal was good once I actually got it.

Horrendous experience. If I could give less than one star I would. Started with exaggerated shorten wait time, short staffed, disorganized and seemingly incompetent. Show night at Brady and did not prepare for increased crowd in district. Finally got seated with just enough time to get orders in and was told an additional 30 minutes to even get a decent meal. Been seated and waited additional 15 just to get water. Ended up having to order small appetizers and salads just to get food in before the concert. Overall very disappointing in lack of planning for an event that caused our experience to be one that will never bring us back.

Kind of slow service, friendly service. Southwest burger was a 3, cob salad I’d give a 1.5 Drinks were good! Took FOREVER to get our check. Probably not coming back because the service was so slow and the food wasn’t great.

Came here for dinner @5:30pm before the 100th First Friday event. The place was still pretty empty. I split the country fried steak with a friend, since I figured that’s what was good at this place. No. The breading was thick and hard. There wasn’t that much gravy. The green beans were reminiscent of the mushy canned beans from elementary school. They added seasoning to amp up the flavor… lemon? It was sour. I also got a side of mac and cheese. It was cold and bland. Only good thing was the mashed potatoes, but how hard is that to mess up?! Our waiter was okay. He was very passionate about the food there, which is good, but service was eh. He refilled everyone’s water at the table TWICE and never refilled mine. Really? He did manage to get the(correct) food out to everyone in a timely matter, which I guess is what matters most. Wouldn’t come back. No one out of our table of 12 raved about their food. It was either bad or «eh.» Also FYI: they don’t serve their whole menu on First Friday nights.

Maybe it was a bad day during restaurant week but with the exception of our waitress who was also the bartender, the experience was nothing short of horrendous. Would not go back.

I came here on a Tuesday night and sat on the patio. Though we weren’t inside very much, the atmosphere and décor seemed cool and fun. I was told to expect comfort food here, and that is what I got. The menu had a bunch of great options, but we settled for the Chicken and Waffles. It was AMAZING. A huge portion for only $ 9 or so. I split it with a friend and we still had some leftover. We got mac n cheese on the side which was just ok. I wish it was a bit more flavorful. It wasn’t particularly cheesey or anything. Our server was so cool and came to check on us often. Though we were too late for happy hour our server told us about it and there were some good deals(sadly, I can’t remember what they were, but they sounded worth it!). If you haven’t had a chance to go to Caz’s go give it a try!

Food was really greatness fried green tomatoes were crisp hot perfect breading service excellent. Will definitely recommend to friends. Portions of foods we saw going out were large especially the chicken fried steak. Everything was fresh with great flavor in the bacon and spinach salad with lemon herb dressing

The Brady District in Downtown Tulsa has become home to several excellent choices. I almost missed Caz’s walking the district but, couldn’t be happier that we found it. An excellent staff of Tattoo’ed Waitresses and Waiters who are attentive and knowledgeable regarding a menu of twisted cajun leaning comfort foods. When you walk into this renovated, I am guessing, machine shop or Garage, everything is perfect. They have spent time assuring the ambience is comfortable enough to give the impression they did not spend any time on it. Everything was perfect, the Spicy Slaw is excellent and, as advertised, perfectly spicy. I can suggest the Pot Roast, Catfish, Meatloaf, Gumbo or any Burger. My wife is a fan of the Chicken and Waffles and loves the Mac & Cheese, what is it about women and Mac and Cheese? You will not be disappointed.

All we got was 2 Bloody Mary’s because we had already eaten. Service was fast. Drinks were delicious. They could use some celery and olives though. ;)

I needed a quick meal and his place was near the Fairfield Inn so I walked over to try it out. The Bartender was pulling double duty and greeted me promptly. I came here because I was told it was good«homestyle» cooking. After a quick tour of the menu I chose the pot roast because the carrots sounds like a good idea for a change since most places add green beans or broccoli as a side. This meal hit the mark. The pot roast was juicy and tender. I could have eaten and entire meal of just the carrots they we so good. The mashed potatoes were a little dry, but the brown gravy made up for it. I decided to indulge myself with a bread pudding for dessert. It came in a small mason jar with a scoop of ice cream that melted quickly to form a steam more around the bread pudding. It was just the right size portion so I didn’t feel as if I’d over eaten when I was done, but I knew I needed to take the long way back to the hotel after such a filling meal. I’ll definitely recommend Caz as a place to try to others visiting downtown Tulsa.

Food was good as usual but the experience was not. We sat in a both on the west wall of the dinning room. The a/c was blowing so hard that it blew our napkins, straws, & check from the table. We asked twice if the fan could be turned to a lower setting or if we could be moved both tines the blower was turned off for about 2 minutes & then it would come back on full force. My husband usually never complains about being cold, he was uncomfortable. We both ate in such a hurry because we were uncomfortable & my green beans became instantly cold on my plate. They need to baffle the air duct & redirect the air.

On my top five restaurant list for Tulsa. I have always had great service and our waiter, Matt, was no exception. The Fried Green Tomatoes are a must have but come early or they will be out! The chicken and Waffles are fantastic. I have never had a bad meal or experience.

Food was good. Service was not. I think they were short handed perhaps. It took almost 45 minutes after placing our order to get our food. Atmosphere inside was pretty cool.

Loved the food and drinks. One of the best bean burgers I’ve had recently. Also love the fried pickles battered with cornmeal.

I’ve had this place on my radar for years. Why it took me so long to come here I’ll never know. What I do know is that I will definitely be coming here more often. When I walked in I immediately loved it. The atmosphere and décor is very cool. I really like it a lot. They have a very high open ceiling and there is a 2nd story seating area. It’s just cool. I was immediately seated and my waitress came right over and took my drink order. She was friendly and attentive and did a great job waiting on me the entire visit.(Shout-out to Hayley, you were awesome!) It was lunch so I decided to order the Chicken Tenders off of the lunch menu. I got the mashed potatoes and gravy for my side and added a cup of Gumbo. The Gumbo came out first… so please don’t mind me but I am VERY critical when it comes to Gumbo. My mother is from Southern Louisiana so to pass my Gumbo litmus test your Gumbo has to basically taste like God made it. Well the Gumbo is certainly not authentic Gumbo by any stretch of the imagination. In fact its the most unusual version of Gumbo I have ever had in my life. That being said it was very tasty. Here is how I look at it… If I view it as Gumbo then it was a fail… but if I just view it as some soup then It was very tasty and I enjoyed it. They just need to call it something else haha. Next came my chicken tenders… I thought I ordered the lunch portion… their lunch portions are huge!!! I was very pleased, and very stuffed when I was done. The chicken tenders were awesome. They tasted great and they had just the right amount of breading. I can’t stand getting chicken tenders that are all breading and no chicken. This was not the case. They were excellent! As far as the mashed potatoes well the one bite I had was great… I was just too full to finish them. I will definitely be back. Great atmosphere, service and food. That’s a home run in my book!

Been here many times and have never had a bad meal. Simply delicious home style cooking served in a casual atmosphere. Nothing pretentious about Caz’s. We’ve brought well over 100 of our friends and they all love this place. Try the Turkey Cuban. It is phenomenal! The Chicken and Waffles are also a favorite and you’ll have enough to take home. The Pucker Chips are so addictive.

This was such a welcome treat! This restaurant was recommended by the Fairfield suites receptionists. We had the chicken finger platter with macaroni and black eyed peas. Definitely plan on sharing a plate unless you are starving. The portions are huge! Great food and great atmosphere!
