I wish I could rate Bison & Bear higher, I really do. But I keep itching to shop there, drive over and find street parking in downtown Tulsa, walk up to the store, and it’s closed. «You idiot, why don’t you check their hours?» some may say. Well, this idiot always does check the hours! Their google page(they don’t got no stinkin’ website) says that they’re open from 12 pm to 6 pm Tuesday through Saturday. Twice in the past month I’ve visited during those hours and their door has been shut with no notice of why the place is closed. I have shopped at Bison & Bear in its old location when it was a pop up shop. They have amazing stuff. Their staff is awesome, their aesthetic is cool, and everything is made in the good ol’ U S of A. I just can’t seem to shop there because they’re always closed. A server from Tavolo(the Italian restaurant with whom they share an entrance) came over and said he didn’t know if there was any rhyme or reason to when they were open. I presume potential customers pop their heads into Tavolo often asking if Bison & Bear is open. Rugged, hipster, Ron Swanson type of place that is sadly unaccessible to the likes of me.

Excellent mens shop. Shane truly appreciates the art of being a man. Everything from shaving to clothing will draw you in. I dare you to walk past the store and not enter. If you don’t leave with at least one item I’d be truly amazed. As a barber this store hits home for me. CO bigelow is an old school barber company that has blown up to be the largest mens care companies. You may not know the name but they produce shaving soaps, aftershave, hair care, body care, etc. They were one of the first companies to partner with bath and body works, funny right? Go in to bison and bear and experience being a man again.

I’m so glad I found this shop last week! Bison and Bear just moved to a great new location downtown so my wife and I went to check it out. As I walk in I’m overwhelmed by the amount of cool stuff. Backpacks, leather goods, shirts, boots, denim, and everything else a dude can want. At the moment the selection is limited but growing. My favorite thing was that all the items(to my knowledge) are made in the USA. I love to support local business when I can and love to support domestic manufacturing too. What more can I say? If you love well made men’s wear this is a must see. I especially love the Left Field denim, I’ll be back soon to pick up a pair.

Great store in downtown Tulsa. Walked in and it smelled great, like many of their products. Owner informed me that they will be moving across the street to a larger location due to the success of Bison and Bear as a pop-up shop. They have unique goods aimed towards men or anyone who would appreciate a specific man in their life to smell or look? better. They had really cool ties and clothes, as well as grooming products and maybe a little art and other knick knacks. I would def recommend this store as the owner is very friendly and informed regarding downtown Tulsa architecture and small business-if your in to that type of stuff.
