This location has recently changed hands and is now Sooner Bread Company. My husband and I thought we would give it a try hoping it would be great just like Belacino’s. We were very disappointed. The pizza had a lot of cheese and not many other toppings that we ordered and the cheese tasted cheap and like it had been previously frozen. We were frequent customer of Belacino’s but we will not go back here

Was intrigued by the name as having spent several years in the Northeast it isn’t often you even heard the term«grinder» in this state. Sadly we never got a chance to taste the food and were so put off by the poor attitudes and service of the people behind the counter I will know know what it actually tastes like. We stopped in on a Monday and they had signs on the wall touting specials for each day of the week with the sign for Monday saying«ask a server»… well considering you order at a counter and seat yourself there is no server… but whatever I ask the guy at the counter what the special is, it just points to another sign on a wall that says Turkey and ½ Turkey… No price… no mention of if it is a sandwich or pizza or Thanksgiving turkey for that matter… Fine, I’ll order off the menu since Mr. Service isn’t willing to even speak. At that point we decide on our what we are going to get and go to order… Ooops when I order the ravioli for my daughter I’m told we don’t have any pasta… No explanation as to why or anything simply that they don’t have past… I ask so no lasagna or spaghetti… So I ask well then why does your menu list all these things… I get a shoulder shrug… Well at that point I’m done. If you can’t even speak to the customers then I have no desire to be a patron.

Had the pizza this time around with sausage, hamburger and strips of bacon. The pizza delivered good quality and plenty of flavor overall. Will be worth returning again to try another menu item.

Another successful outing using the local pizza card. I hear good things about their grinders, but we of course got the pizza. Crust is in between thin and hand tossed. Still has that doughy and toothy feel, but is crisp all around. It’s also pretty flavorful. Toppings were good and plentiful, which lead to a slight soupy pool in the middle, but nothing that ruined the pizza itself. Pizza enthusiastic may scoff and declare upon being served their pie that«hey, pizza is supposed to come by the slice». Well not so here. They do the traditional«chicago cut» where the pizza is sliced into squares. Some complain that this makes eating the pizza a fork and knife job. As difficult as it may seem, just press through, and eat it with your hands… after it’s cooled a bit first. As for the establishment itself, it reminds me of an east coast pizza chain, right down to the dark green carpet, wood paneling, and stained glass lighting. They have numerous weekday specials, that have earned them a return trip from my family.

Less than stellar experience lady night. Ordered a ham, pineapple, and bacon pizza that came without pineapple. The crust was fantastic, but it was a little weird without the pineapple. Also ordered a dozen hot & spicy wings. They only had five(?) so they subbed the rest for bbq. Very little sauce on either of the wings — we only ate half of them. The service was the worst part, though. When ordering, the woman at the register kept interjecting her own opinion about everything. When my boyfriend was signing the receipt, she also made an awkward comment about tips. The staff in the kitchen were overheard saying they all had«a love/hate relationship with this place». While cleaning up in the dining room, the staff were listening to music with ear buds(loud enough that I could hear) and concurrently yelling conversations from the kitchen to the dining area. I could hardly focus on the conversation I was trying to have with my boyfriend. Not a great experience for $ 28.

Good place to get pizza. It’s not my top choice but every time I have been it’s been good and the service was good. Good place for lunch if you’re in the area.

We ordered a sandwich tray for a meeting. The whole tray was a mixture of their sandwiches and everything was fresh and tasty. Very good. They had everything ready for me to pick up when I got there, very friendly staff.

I have been here a few times and I have never, ever had anything that was not good, and I have tried just about everything on the menu. Best sandwiches and the pizza… it’s a top 5 for me in Tulsa. Staff is always friendly. Just go!

Dang good place to get a pizza… Always use this place for a good thin crust… They have been known for their deep dish, so if you like those, this is the place to come to from what I hear… I prefer thinner, crispier crust, and this really hit the spot for Bixby… Also, if you are interested they have one heck of a bar downstairs with some awesome TV action… Come getcha a pizza here, I like to get the Canadian bacon, pineapple, meatballs, and crisp bacon added and it is my version of the«pork bomb» ha ha! Tasty!

Absolutely terrible. The worst meatball sub I have ever had. It’s like they don’t even get the point of and Italian style grinder. Don’t go, nothing is fresh, it just all fell off the back of a cysco truck…

Great grub! I will often get lunch for the entire office from here! Only way to make it better is to add delivery! Try the Chicago Steak. Bam Bam!

We received a groupon for this place. Not impressed at all. Alfredo pizza was so hot everything fell off the slice when picked up. The hot wings were tasteless as the sauce was cooked right off them. Buffalo chicken grinder would have been fine without the chicken but then whats the point. I can say the only thing we liked was the sandwhich bread and fries.

Yes the lasagna sauce is a little sweet, however I find that to be so in many other Italian restaurants also. The Chicken Alfredo pizza is simply terrific as is the Bellacino“s Bayou; get the 18″, take it home cut in 4 pieces freeze and warm ea. in oven as needed for light wonderful lunches. Makes your mouth water in anticipation as soon as you think about that delicious sandwich being there any day you choose. Been back several times and look forward to many more. Will always get that Bayou for home.

The pizza here is just kind of average, but not bad by bad means. There pizzas are huge but they can be a little pricey especially if you add toppings. Overall not bad but there are many better pizza places in Tulsa.

The pizza is not too bad, but its not too good either. The sauce they use is too sweet for my taste, which, since I value that on a Pizza more than the other ingredients, pretty much the reason why this gets 3 stars. THEYAREOVERPRICEDONCEYOUSTARTADDINGTOPPINGS! 2 toppings ran a personal pan size pizza close to $ 10. There is honestly no reason why a topping should exceed $ 1 in price in my opinion. Looking around for a good pizza place still since recently moved to Tulsa, OK about 4 months ago.

I wasn’t too impressed. It’s better than the usual places such as the well known pizza hut or mazzios but it just didn’t do it for me. First off they got my order wrong. I ordered a specialty pizza but requested to have jalopeno’s added to it – it didn’t have a single jalopeno on it. I also asked for a medium pepperoni pizza to go. Separate from my other order which I was dining in. They brought both pizzas out to our table instead of the medium one boxed to go. Not a big deal but I was upset about not having jalopeno’s on my pizza :(
