Wish this place wasn’t as out of the way for me as it is. This place is good! I have had quite a few burgers in town and this one is near the top of the list. A nice sized dining area and a drive through for those on the go. A small menu is always a plus in a burger joint. I loved my double cheese burger and fries. I will for sure be back for more!

I love trying out Tulsa’s many burger joints that, like this one, are decades old. Arnold’s is on the west side of the river, and they’ve got a simple menu, a retro ambiance, and super-quick service. I was there around 2pm(light crowd) to place a to-go order: a single-patty cheeseburger, which ran me $ 4.04 after tax. It was ready for me in 3 – 4 minutes. I ordered it with«everything,» which means lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, and mustard. It was about 5 inches in diameter(a little too big to eat while you’re driving, I think, maybe my hands are just small), not too greasy, and pretty filling. My rating might be swayed if I’m blown away by the fires or milkshake on my next visit, but the burger alone I’d say was just good – nothing special. It was a textbook burger; you could put its picture next to «hamburger» in the dictionary. I’d eat it before a McDonald’s burger in a heartbeat, but next to a the bevy of great burger choices in Tulsa, I don’t think the Arnold’s burger stands out. It’s not quite as flavorful as a Claud’s or Brownie’s burger, and even though that atmosphere was groovy(jukebox, pictures of Elvis and Marilyn Monroe, neon lights), I didn’t find the food to be quite as memorable. Definitely worth a visit if you’re hungry on the west side, though, especially if you’re on a budget!

Not a fancy place, but very clean inside. A juke box with 50s style music and a few 50s posters. Windows all around, but not fogged or cold inside. Good single hamburger and double cheeseburger. I liked the onion rings and thought they were perfectly fried, but my husband said they were a little tough and hurt his mouth. We liked the skinny French fries, fried just right. We got a vanilla malt and chocolate shake, because of reviews saying they were worth it. The glasses were frosted which was a really nice touch. I really liked the vanilla malt best, both were thick and rich. Nice people who were conscientious about keeping tables clean. They have call in as well as drive thru. I have one suggestion, recover the vinyl of the booths and chairs. The only thing I didn’t understand was the hamburgers got cold fast. We did spend a couples of minutes trying the fries and rings, but the burgers should have stayed hot longer. It gets a place on my top 5 Tulsa burgers list!

Arnold’s will be sure to delight anyone wanting to go back in time and feel like it’s the 1950s again. They have good burgers but the must haves are their shakes and onion rings. Price is reasonable as well. Definitely one of the top 5 burger places in Tulsa.

This place has good old fashioned Burgers that aren’t too pricy. Their onion rings are different from any I’ve ever had but they are wonderful. The staff is friendly and I love the 50s diner feel.

My grandmother lived around the corner, so I grew up eating the food at this place and can testify that very little has changed. Still serving up quality burgers and shakes for all these years.

We got the last two burgers! Apparently everyone else thought Arnold’s was a good pick today. The burgers are pretty big and tasty. They are not super juicy, but they are not dry. The onion rings(they ran out of fries) were crunchy and satisfying. We left full, even though we didn’t have the option to order anymore food. Would highly recommend Arnold’s. It has that old-timey atmosphere and good food.

The aroma of Arnold’s burgers could be smelled a block away which acted as a magnet to draw us in. We were not disappointed. The small hamburger with cheese was more than enough to satisfy my hunger. The presentation of the burger was eye appealing. Clean no mess wrapped in yellow paper. Tasty, tasty. Fries were fresh cut and small. Tried small chocolate shake-recommend. Busy inside and their to go lane was busy the entire time we were eating. Friendly courteous staff. Got a Pepsi to go. Yummy.

The food is a bit greasy and limited on selection but if you’re looking for a good old fashioned hamburger, onion rings and shake this is THE place to go. If the nostalgia were done up a little more and I’d of given it another star.

We intended on eating fish and fried okra tonight for dinner(because we were given about 2 gallons of fresh okra and it has been sitting in our freezer for awhile now because we can’t eat it fast enough). When it was time to start making dinner we both looked in the kitchen and realized we needed to do dishes and we were both too wrapped up in the projects we were working on that we decided it would just be easier to get something out. We were going to go to Linda Mar, since we recently both had it for dinner, and then I remembered that I hadn’t ever tried Arnold’s before and based off of the reviews from Unilocal I figured we should give it a try. As far as the food is concerned it is pretty much exactly Linda Mar’s food. Nothing too notably different, the price is about the same, and it takes just about as long to get it here as it does at Linda Mar. Their milkshakes, however, are pretty dang amazing, so I will totally give them that. When it comes to customer service I will say, again, it was the exact same great service that I got from Linda Mar and it definitely made me want to come back again sometime. They were very polite when answering some questions I had and when I was handed my food I was looked directly in the eye and told to have a great evening. It was a nice feeling. One notable thing I will say about Arnold’s is that I noticed, from my viewpoint in the drive-thru window, that the kitchen was very, very clean. I would have preferred to see everyone wearing gloves that was handling food, but these days you cannot find that anywhere and I’m not sure why… but I will say that the kitchen looked wonderful(or at least the area where the food was being put together). So, for us, Linda Mar and Arnold’s both win. There is no winner or loser — they’re both really, really wonderful and filled me up to the point that I wanted to go to bed. Yummy food coma.

Reminds me of the five for a dollar burgers we used to get when I was a kid. Average tasting, greasy, thin patty with an overly soaked bun and average fries. Good service, friendly people and I keep going back.

I rarely go to Arnie’s because it is located in West Tulsa along I-44(which I never happen to pass), but I love it there. There are a handful of burger places everyone in Tulsa should try. These are good, classic, greasy burgers.

The best thing about this place for me was the excellent vanilla milk shake. Burger was average as well as the fries… nothing special.

I was induced into trying Arnolds because they had an Entertainment Book coupon(Del-Mar right next down the way refused to honor theirs, so I’ve never tried them and now I never will). I was AMAZED at how awesome this burger was. This is no fast-food franchise burger, although they move pretty quickly. This is fresh and well-seasoned ground beef with plenty of veggies, all for around the price of a Burger King Whopper. I’ve also had the Chicken Club sandwiches(fried AND grilled, because I’m a curious guy), and they were fine, but the star here is the burger. I have to fight the urge to stop by this place as I’m coming home down Highway 75 because it would be soooooo easy to turn off that West I-44 exit and no one would ever know… ;-)
