Ann Arthur Outerwear, where ethics don’t matter as long as the Gamble’s are making a few bucks. Shop here only if you aren’t worried about blood being on your hands, or on the ground or in cages or on the walls.

The name of this business is EXTREMELY misleading… I took my grandmother in to find a normal winter coat and we were both appalled at the amount of dead animals on the racks! Adding insult to injury, the store itself was tiny and cramped, it looked old and dusty and there was a strong, lingering foul stench. Which makes sense, when you think about it. They literally work with dead animals in the back and sell DEATH. For OUTRAGEOUS prices, I might add. When we inquired about the source of the animal skins, we were told that they only sell«old furs». Upon further inspection, their Facebook Page showed a recent post(within DAYS of our inquiry) of a «brand new, locally trapped Bobcat coat»! So, which is it, Ann Arthur? It would appear they value profits over ethics and that is not a store my family likes to do business with. Hopefully, they close their store soon. In this day and age, building your«business» literally on the backs of dead innocent beings, is nothing short of psychotic. We do not recommend this store to ANYONE.

I find it incredibly barbaric and disturbing that in this day and age of technology, when we have perfectly suitable synthetics for both appearance AND warmth, a company is still choosing to sell fur from dogs and cats. If that wasn’t disgusting enough for you, the staff is exceedingly rude, and the store itself smells like a mixture of old lady perfume and feces.
