Trails are nice and groomed well, rentals are good quality. A little high in price for a Hill but not to many choices for NY in skiing.

I really like this place and have had a lot of fun skiing here. The runs aren’t really long or difficult. But there are a lot of different ways to get down the hill so there is a lot of variety.
The people in the lodge and bar are really friendly to top it all off.
Great for families and a fun day on the slopes.

Song Mountain is a 20 — 30 minute drive south of Syracuse, NY. I usually ski Song because it is the closest mountain to my parents house. However, the weekend lift tickets are reasonable ($ 32) and the lessons are $ 35 per hour for a private lesson. My daughter has taken several of these lessons and I took a couple as well to work on my form.
Since it is in the Syracuse Area there is always plenty of snow (although last year was a little disappointing). However, Song does make a lot of snow as well.
Song is not a destination ski resort so you will see the same people in the lodge almost every weekend.
Get there early and ski without the crowds.
