I’ll bump this up to 3 stars. The service was great and we felt like it was all hands on deck. First time in since the restructure of the menu. They are now branded as a steak house with a fine dining flair. It still felt really high end which I liked and the ambiance hasn’t changed much. The food was overall good. I can’t help but be a little hard on them. I orders a 60 $ steak and ordered it medium rare(noted on the rarer side just in case), came out medium well. I mean cmawn. I’d give them another go. So I moved them from 2 – 3 stars. I would hope they would have aired on the rare side in general. Oh well. My party had a great time and that’s what mattered.

I was disappointed with my experience. Upon entering I told my waitress we are vegetarians and would like some recommendations. She told us that we can choose any of the ingredients on the menu and turn them into vegetarian meals. We ordered the Margarita salad and for my food I chose Brussel sprouts, potatoes, and asparagus. The Margarita salad never came out. Also when the Brussels arrived they had a ton of bacon in them. I complained about the Brussels and they didn’t charge for them but I ended up leaving hungry because I only ate two sides. My husband didn’t want me to complain about not receiving the salad because he said we are never going back anyways. We did like the personality of the waitress but going to a expensive restaurant like that you expect to get all items that were ordered and made correctly.

After enjoying Blackfish in the past-decided to splurge on Christmas dinner at Tulalip Bay-the award winning fine dining next door to Blackfish. Enticed by the special duck menu I made r eservation for 5. There was a little line of about 3 parties all seated promptly. I had nice table looking at the Chihuly, glass sculpture. Gail my server was friendly and efficient giving impecable service. Even though I was dning alone-I was welcomed warmly by everyone. My icewater was always refilled w/out asking. Shortly after ordering comes out a complementary shot galss w/housemade hot mulled cider-t was so intensely delicious and such a surprise! For app had the 5 onion soup-the menu described having sweet Italian sausage-which was very tasty-loaded w onions and dense-just did not have that nice crustycheese baked topping like I’ve enjoyed at Blackfish. There was a small amount of cheesr floating on top. Would I order it again? Yes!But will ask for extra cheese. Then I had the beef carpaccio. The horseradish decribed was missing. This app was $ 25 –for 3 pieces. Definetly a once /year treat at that price-it was delicious even w/out the horesradish. Wanted to try the bonemarrow app but I also wanted to keepthe tab at $ 100 and my tummy wanted to save room for the duck! After the app and garlic mini baquette bread sticks comes a complementary ‘palate cleanser’-a golfball size scoop of housemade mint-cukecumber melon maybe sorbet that was refreshing. I found myself looking for the bread/butter I read about in other Unilocal reviews –these baguettes werego od but did not have butter accompany. Along w/the meal enjoyed 2 glasses of late harvest resiling-at $ 10⁄11 which for what I got was reasonable. I enjoyed the different pretty glasses used. Other than Canlis the wine list is the best I’ve ever seen with something for every price point and palette. Finally the DUCK. About 10 perfectly seared medallions of duck breast along w/cider roasted squash, sage chanterelles w/blckberry gastrique(reduction saice) The only glitch on this entrée was that it had pan seared foie gras-which turned out to be simplyshredded duck-i have to say was dry and not a pâté stlye foie gras I was expecting. The duck entrée was $ 45 and scrumptious-this was not your chinese restaurant style duck-but truly gourmet. I aslo had fontina mashd potatoes(a steal at $ 6) The desserts looked amazing, including housemade gelato/icecream which just did not have room for . then Gail brings out 2 mini choc cookies! The perfect ending. This dining experience was a nice leisurly 1.5 hours. The tab was $ 101 after tax and %10 players card discount of $ 8.40 dscount-food only(make sure you present your card when ordering) I enjoyed so much and would highly recomend. Will definetly come back!

We went here for the 1st time last week and we were so surprised with the great service and the food and drink was fantastic. We dont gamble and that was not a issue, once you walk in thru the doors, the crazy noise of the casino is no longer. We will go there many more times. The Blackfish is next door so it is a toss up. You will not be dissapointed !!!

Ate here tonight for the first time with wife. The atmosphere was pleasant and the place was not crowded. Here is the breakdown from my point of view. 1) Service — wait staff was attentive and available. Kept water glasses filled, replenished hot water in tea pot, ensured my wine glass was filled. Give the staff a 4 ½ out of 5. To get a 5 would have expected him to take menus away when we had appetizer and bring back when we were ready to eat since there was no where on table to put menus. 2) Food — regardless of price it was average to above average, not excellent. Antipasto plate was good, really enjoyed peppers and mushrooms. Chef sent over little bit when we first arrived, it was basically fried potato ball, not impressed. I had small tenderloin which was very delicious and cooked med-rare as I like. Potatoes where nothing special, had better at chain restaurants. Wife had scallops and said they were excellent. 3) Value — I have eaten at a lot of cheap restaurants, exceptionally expensive restaurants and everything in between. For the price we paid, just shy of 200 including tip, I would rate value at 2 and no higher. Frankly I spent 120 in Bonefish the night before and the meal and service were as good.

Awesome food and quality. Food fresh and tasty. Good food and company and even friendly people. Like the couple that was next to us from Richland who were enjoying their meals at the same time we were. Their desserts are awesome as well.

An update, Matt(GM) contacted me and tried to make it right. He appreciated my comments and will discuss with the staff and use as a learning tool. I’m not sure any Unilocalers out there could expect anything more since we did eat our entire meal and there was only a couple issues with the food. I always appreciate hearing back from management and them taking ownership of the issues. I bump them 1 star.

Saturday night was the first time we were there. First impression was«wow’ this place is nice and fancy. 2nd impression was damn the prices are high, the kids menu was limited and all were $ 12 per item, but OK should expected that from a fancy place, so we got over it and ordered the meals. What got us more pissed off was how long it took to get our food. It took them over a hour to grill the kids burger patties that looked like they got it out of the freezer! I mean for $ 12 we expect hand pressed meat patty that doesn’t look like it came from Mcdonalds and all it came with was fries, buns and patty. As for the adults meals, boy did it really suck comparing to the price we are paying! My Halibut was over cooked, the kids burgers were slightly burnt, the $ 85 T-bone was over done meaning it was chewy(when we asked for Medium Rare). Over all experience here made us not wanting to come back ever! Our bill came out to be over $ 325 for 4 adults and 3 kids plus horrible foods/wait time.

I was excited to finally come to this restaurant. We ordered the bone marrow as an appetizer which was good. We ordered the halibut with mussels which was tasty. Had the Dolce cart, ordered a chocolate bar, was going to drink my water, there was a black fly doing the back stroke. Matt the manager comped us, still not happy with lack of attention from Roger our server

This is our definition of fine dining. We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary here, but have come several times previously. They go out of the way to make you feel welcomed. That makes such a difference. There is no hurry to order and they will explain anything on the menu until you understand what you want. The sommolier was very helpful in pairing wines with our food. Each dish was superb and cooked perfectly. My lamb was excellent. My wife’s pasta dish was delicious. Everything is served tastefully. There are always new things to try, such as the bone marrow appetizer. Sounds odd, but it was amazing. It is not inexpensive place to eat, but it felt like a bargain.

It was someone else’s choice to eat here, so I have returned. Got the sampler appetizer with ribs, pot stickers, and shrimp. I think it was $ 26. Had the crab salad again, and the same server. I had a martini this time. I ordered the soup, why did I do that to myself? It was supposed to be a mushroom soup. It sounded really good, and it was raining… I don’t know why I thought ordering soup was a good idea, because it was brown gravy. It tasted exactly like thick brown gravy. No mushroom anywhere. But they took it away, so problem solved. My hubby got the Chilean sea bass, it was really delicious.

I have eaten here 5 times and the last time(last week) was horrible. I ordered the duck and it was as OVERCOOKED as it could possibly be without being charred black. I have enjoyed duck multiple times and have a pretty good idea of how it should be cooked. A real let down. If fact disgusting. Up till now MY food has been great, however, my 3rd experience at this place I watched my grandmother take a bite and pull a 12 inch hair out of her mouth! I am not joking. I’m not sure why we continued to go after that experience, however there seems to be a trend beginning and we will not be back. Disappointed.

Birthday dinner from the Fiancé. The Maine Lobster was absolutely — Amazing! Portion was worth the price. She had Salmon, and I must say we’ve had better. Presentation was an A+. Service was an A+. My Long Island Ice Tea on the other hand, could have been stronger esp. for the price. Wine list could have included cheaper options. Menu was on the shorter side, and for my $ 55 plate, it didn’t even include a house salad. Very pleasant experience over all, recommend.

If you want to find a place to celebrate your anniversary or special occasion look no more! This place is fancy and made me and my hubs feel extra special! The food! OMG! I couldn’t critique a thing about any of the dishes we ordered. The Lobster Tails for appetizer were perfect! The Crab salad was absolutely delicious! The fillets were amazing! Just an overall awesome experience! They even brought us our a plate with Happy Anniversary written in Chocolate. Perfect!

I am very picky. While I’m not a world renowned chef, I can cook, and I don’t want to go out and pay for a meal that I could prepare better. So places I really like and would go back too, are few and far between. I was extremely impressed with Tulalip Bay. Everything from the ambience, to the servers, to the food was flawless. We went for my birthday and our server greeted us, and wished me a happy birthday. I wish I could remember his name but he was an older gentleman with I believe a British accent, he was exceptional all night. I’ve seen many reviews on here with people talking about terrible service, and that was not our experience. He was lovely. A perfect waiter. Knew when to come check, and knew when to leave us be. Now let’s talk about the food, the most important part!!! I ordered the lobster bisque to start, and it was gorgeous. Small little gems of puff pastry and lobster chunks floating around the bisque and crème fraîche. My husband ordered a pancetta wrapped shrimp and spinach salad, that was plated beautifully and he devoured. For our entrée, I had the filet mignon that had a Cabernet Rosemary glaze under it. The meat was cooked to perfection and literally melted in my mouth. I have never had a better steak in all my life. It was incredible. My husband had a ribeye that had a mustard sauce on it, and again it was cooked to perfection, he didn’t come up for air until the whole thing was gone. Because it was my birthday our server brought out a massive plate that had happy birthday written in chocolate and a chocolate mousse cake with fresh raspberries with a candle. Again it was delicious and it made me really happy! The one thing I have not seen mentioned here is the bread. The bread is little fresh baked bars of deliciousness with white and black sesame seeds on top. But the butter, the butter is on a whole other planet of good. Its a soft whipped butter with ginger and I think lime juice and I don’t know what else but it comes in these little baby cups and you slather it on your piece of bread and it starts to melt and it is divine. The best bread and the best butter I have ever eaten. Our server brought us 3 rounds of bread and butter and neither of us could eat the 3rd round, and I was literally trying to figure out how I could take the bread and the butter home with me so I could enjoy it when I could eat again. If I could have wrapped it in a tissue and had them bring me a to go cup for the butter I would have taken it with me. My husband informed me places like this«don’t do doggie bags» so I had to leave my bread and butter behind. I want to go back and eat here right now. This is the perfect place for a romantic dinner, a special occasion, or just when you want something different. * for those who have a hard time with the smoke at the casino, yes you have to walk through the casino to get to Tulalip Bay, but once you are inside, you cannot smell the smoke ATALL! **.

This is my all time favorite place to eat at in Marysville. If you’re looking for a fine dining experience without going down to Seattle then search no further! This place is absolutely amazing. As soon as you are seated you are brought an Amuse Bouche as a gift from the Tulalip Tribe and the Chef. What a great touch!!! The ambiance is incredible. As soon as you walk in(with reservations) you are directed to an intimate table, booth, or the Wine Room(for large groups). You can even eat here without reservations though on weekends and holidays, reservations are a must! It is very romantic and classic inside. The wine room is spectacular and features Dale Chihuly’s fine work as the ceilings center piece. The waiting staff is unbelievably friendly. Your waiter or waitress also doubles as a Sommelier so if you’re a wine drinker you’re set. This place has a phenomenal selection of wine. I’m not a master wine taster but your Sommelier will help you pair your wine to your food. I’ve been here many times with my co-workers and a few times with friends and my wife. We’ve always had a great dining experience. The food is great. I haven’t ordered anything I don’t like. From the rib-eye to the lamb. It’s all been well received by my pallet. The lobster is always cooked well and the filet mignon is always perfectly cooked. They even provide you with a light to look at the doneness of your steak. My favorite is the«Big Winner» which is filet mignon and lobster. There is a point in the meal between appetizers/salad and your main course where they serve you an intermezzo to cleanse your pallet. It is pineapple sautéed in butter and Grand Marnier. It is addictive and if you ask for extra they will accommodate. Bottom line is that this place is pricey but it is soooooo worth it. Their menu is seasonal and they don’t always have the same stuff so it’s good to try different things here.

Tulalip Bay It is a great place for a Special Occasion Dinner. Yes, it is the most pricey of the restaurant options available in the Casino but like others note — you really feel like you are somewhere else with the great décor, professional service and dim lighting. You do not smell cig smoke in this restaurant although you can smoke in the Casino Gaming areas. I brought a work event here recently for our end of year dinner and this place did not disappoint! The service was extremely attentive and professional. We waited awhile to get our table so they thanked our party of 8 with complementary lil appetizer that they flash-fired up at the table. Nice touch! It really set the mood of the festive evening. The wine selection was top notch and impressed my boss who knows his WA wines! Everyone enjoyed their dinner, the service the many servings and the Wine! Did I mention good wine?! :) I was impressed to find this caliber of service at a Casino in WA, the whole Tuliap Resort and Casino is actually pretty dang sweet service and décor. I’d consider another winter getaway here!

A fine-dining gem just a few minutes north of Seattle, it was a real surprise to find the dark-wood and white-linen settings typically reserved for the higher echelons of big-city dining. Despite being nestled far away from the city lights, this restaurant still manages to execute service and food to an exactingly superb degree. And if you’re waiting for a table, you can enviously admire the custom Dale Chihuly chandelier in the adjacent wine tasting room, done in the signature squiggle of the glassmaster in complimentary earth tones. I was also concerned that the restaurant’s location deep in the heart of the casino would make for a smoke-filled dinner, but the heavy wood and glasjs doors made sure the air was clean and un-affected by the smoke. Overall, dining here was an absolute pleasure, one I hope to repeat soon. Note, my evening here was generously provided for by the kind people of Tulalip Resort and Unilocal

I was blown away by the ambiance, staff friendliness and knowledge, and the attention to detail. You would have no idea that it’s just inside of a casino. I liked the dark wood décor– really impressed as well by the food. Had the wet-aged 14 oz ribeye that really seemed like it was 20+ ounces. It was medium rare and very tender and juicy! All the trimmings too. Great work!
