Essential Earth Organic Salon

I love these ladies! I had been coloring my hair Black at home for several months and was tired of it. Knowing that black is extremely difficult to remove I opted for a professional. Since I had been only touching up the top roots there was plenty of natural color underneath for them to match to. They nailed it! As a bonus, my hair was incredibly soft even though it had been double processed. They do Round Robin on you but I think it makes the appt more efficient.

So happy I tried this salon. The staff is so friendly, the products are great, environment style is chic and comfy, but most of all I love my hair color! I will definitely be returning.

I came by to cut off hair to be donated and to get a nice hairstyle. I normally don’t treat myself to a salon haircut but wanted to this time. Nora washed my hair and left deep conditioner in for a couple of minutes. This was my first visit and I was not asked if I had any preferences, sensitivities or allergies to ingredients before the shampoo and conditioner were used. I had no idea which products were being used on my hair. I was there for about 20 minutes or longer and my neck was starting to hurt so I had to sit up while holding my hair on top of my head until a staff came back to rinse it off. I think they were busy that day so that might be why it took longer than expected.
I had a woman named Michelle cut my hair. She listened to what kind of haircut I wanted and gave some insights when I asked for feedback such as how to keep my hair from being very poofy (big/​thick) since it would be above my shoulder for the length. She was nice and patient. I informed her earlier that my hair would become straight if it’s blow-​dried but she still blew dry it (not sure why because my wavy haircut wouldn’t look right if it was cut while straight). The power went out due to a big storm that was going on while she was blow drying my hair. A generator was brought in to give some power for some tools that needed to be plugged in and a lamp for visibility. I went over to a different chair near the lamp so she could see my hair while cutting it. I was nervous because it was completely dark except the lamp behind me and I was having 11 inches cut off.
She somehow got it cut and I was at the front desk with Nora again. The owner informed Nora of what kind of haircut I had gotten and then she decided to let me have the haircut for free. I still left a $ 10 tip for their kindness and patience for communicating with me (I am Deaf). I thanked them and left with my donated hair inside a bag. I had to wash my hair again due to there being a strong scent/​fragrance from one (or several) products that were used on my hair since it was giving me a headache and I also wanted to get rid of the freshly cut hair pieces that were falling out.
After several times of washing and styling it, my haircut does not appear to be «extraordinary» as if I got it cut at a salon. It appears to be normal such as getting it cut at a place like Great Clips. I was hoping to get a really nice haircut since I haven’t been able to do this for many years. I think it might be because the salon lost power and they couldn’t give 100% to make it look very nice. I’m willing to give this place another chance in the future to see if it’ll be nicer with the power on this time :)

Love, love, love this place! They are true masters in their craft and have the best customer service and the best products!

Wow. Can’t say enough wonderful things about the salon and the ladies there. LOVE IT! Miranda is a hair genius. I let her do her thing, and I am never disappointed. It is a bit different than your typical salon, all the ladies work together and you don’t have just one person working on you and I think it just flows and is a great concept. I am always treated so well and taken care of. My hair color always looks amazing!

I purchased a Groupon and was very impressed with my hair cut. I also love the Loma brand shampoo and conditioner they recommended for my hair. I have very thick coarse hair so it is always hard to find natural shampoos that make my hair look great. The Loma shampoos not only make my hair look great but thanks to the store’s online shop I am able to continue to order the products at a great price.

The staff were very nice and the environment very relaxing… BUT I got the worst haircut I have ever had!!! I have to now pay somebody to fix the damage. It is emabarring how bad my hair looks. This salon is also different because not just one person does your hair. Everybody in the salon does your hair. So if you are not comfortable with lots of people touching you do not do it! They do use orgainc local products which I love, but I will not return. They do pamper you, but you are just spending more money as you sit there. Not for me.

My color didn’t turn out the way I was hoping for. I was never asked how I wanted my hair cut. They are the professionals so I just let them do their thing. Multiple people worked on my hair which was a little strange. Overall I was okay with my hair but now wowed. I used a Unilocal deal and would have been disappointed if I had paid full price. I would still go back though and speak up next time. They use organic products which is awesome.

I’ve been coming here for over a year and they are very friendly and always great to be around. They always work really hard to give me the color I want and are always excited to see the finished product with me. I would definitely recommend them

The ladies in this salon made my daughters special day so very special. She was treated like a princess and even when I gave them short notice for the appt, they fit my daughter in and did not rush thru her Up do and make up. She left there feeling so special. Thanks Ladies so much! I wish we lived closer (we live in CA), I would definitely make this our new go to spot for everything. There was a nice mix of men and women in the salon waiting for appts and everyone was leaving, looking like a million bucks.
Prom is a special day on its own, but when you have the super star treatment that makes it even more special.
We will be back at some point and I will make an appt for myself the next time.

I absolutely love this salon! Treated like a princess and given the royal treatment! I got a full foil with styling and makeup application. The products they use to color hair is wonderful! No harsh chemical smells, no burning or tingling and the shampoo/​conditioner products are absolutely amazing! My hair has never felt more healthy and soft after a foil!

Great salon! They make you feel like a princess, pampering you with make-​up and hand massage. Great products! The coloring products dont make my scalp itch or burn like others! They carry Loma products, which I love. I always leave with beautiful straight hair when my hair is normally a big bouffant! Thanks girls! See you soon!

These women are truly gifted at the art of hair. I go to Miranda M & am very loyal to her. But I have been wowed by Ananda’s talent many times while in the salon. In fact, regardless of the artist, I have never seen a customer look average when leaving the salon. A true salon spa experience. I get 5 star hair at a 2.5 star price.
Another note– these women are family. There are no jealous eye rolls or catty gossip. They have each others backs which gives the salon a very welcoming, protective energy. Such a relaxing and happy experience.

Every time I walk away after Miranda M has worked her miracles on my hair I feel so beautiful. I live in South Everett and I have no problem driving up to Tulalip so that i can get my hair done by Miranda.
Everybody in the salon is great! It has such a great, comfortable atmosphere. I am a customer for life!

I can’t say enough good things about this Salon. Great staff, always willing to work with me. Katie always knows what I want even if I don’t, true artist. HIGHLY recommend this salon and everyone who works there. True, real and natural products and there is no compromise on how long color lasts or how good your hair will look.

Just got organic color and hair extensions here (and a complimentary hand massage) Service was excellent! Price reasonable… what a great combination, right?
The women works as a team, helping each other with clients so that everyone is always moving through whatever their next stage of service is. For people who are not known for patience – like me – that always feels good.
