This store gets 5 stars from me for one very simple reason. They actually cater to girls/​women soccer players. GASP! I know right!?! Women actually play soccer in 2015!
I jest but you would probably NOT be surprised to know that most chain stores throughout the Pacific NW have a ton of selection for mens/​boys soccer players but not for girls/​women.
Typically at Dicks or Sports Authority, Big 5, etc there are about 20 pairs of mens cleats of all styles, sizes, prices. AND then 2 or 3 for girls and two are almost always bright pink. Cuz what women doesnt just love PINK? Puke.
I appreciate that Soccer West carries Womens National team apparel and a nice selection for women.
Prices are reasonable and service is impeccable.
Whenever we are at Starfire we always stop and stock up on soccer gear.

Worker looked pissed off when it was 9 and I still was in the store lookin at shoes. A lot of soccer equipment and shirts are a plus. Ordering online would be much better in my opinion as they won’t have you’re size for sure

While it is quite convenient to pop in here before or after a game, don’t waste your time if you are in need of advice or customer service. It seems the staff either know very little about the products they sell or care very little about helping the customers they are there to help. I’ve been there twice. Once for shoes and once for socks. Both times I left disappointed with the service. It was difficult to pry more than two sentences out of any of the staff I spoke with. If you know what you need, this is a convenient place into which to pop and grab what you need. Just don’t expect anyone to answer any questions about the products. The Federal Way store, however, is a great store. The guy there spent a good deal of time answering my questions and helped me find the right shoe (and left shoe, too :-))
