Luwa Distributing

We’ve used Luwa the entire 11 years we’ve used Miele washing machine/​dryer and dishwasher. In all that time we’ve only needed repairs 3 or 4 times as Miele are the workhorses of household appliances. I can not recommend Luwa Distributing enough for their absolutely incredible, stellar service. Both John and Jesse have been coming up to our home for the repairs and they are exceptional service providers. This last time our dishwasher stopped draining and Jesse nailed the problem quickly. We were using the wrong detergent which clogged up the drain (who knew?) so we switched to the recommended Miele tabs (a great deal as you can cut them in half so a box of 60 turns into 120 and for us that is almost a year’s supply). Jesse was explaining the issue to me as he repaired it and I have to say that his ability to explain the mechanics of it in simple understandable English is quite remarkable!
And he’s the kindest person. His range of knowledge around household appliances is astonishing as well. Jesse even helped me figure out why our oven wasn’t heating properly while we were waiting for the dishwasher to run through a drain cycle! I deeply appreciate the courtesy, professionalism and plain kindness that Jesse and John (who came out together one time as our washer/​dryer are stacked) have shown us each and every time they come out.
Luwa has outstanding admin/​management because it shows in the capability and thoughtfulness of their employees. In this day and age it is a rarity to have a company who actually cares about their employees and their customers! Thank you Jesse thank you Luwa!

LUWA is here now and finishing up a great job with my Miele Dishwasher. Jesse called to let me now he was on his way, showed up exactly on time, figured out the issue, had the part in the truck, and did a great job of installation, resetting the machine, and cleaning up. It is cycling through right now. He even gave me a tip on running some vinegar through a cycle to clear out the drain, and reduce any residual smell. Who knew?
I have used LUWA in years past when I used the wrong kind of dishwasher detergent and I used too much of it. The machine was new, and I had no idea how energy/​detergent efficient it is. It was an easy call to make to have them return to fix this unrelated issue. John came out that time and again it was a great job, and he was very professional. He instructed us on what to use and how much, and that solved our issue easily.
Great work, good people, knowledgeable and well trained staff… can’t ask for more.

The service was awesome from start to finish. Got an appointment in about a 4 day time. Tech was On Time and quick to diagnose our dishwasher issue. AND he had the part! Saved us a second service call and fee. PLUS gave us a reasonable hourly bill for his time, he could of charged another ½ hour like mosts firms would do when just past the one hour time.. We appreciated that too! We highly recommend. Honest and fair.

I needed a Miele dishwasher repaired. The problem was diagnosed over the phone after a tech had me run a diagnostic which involved pushing a series of buttons.
First, my appointment was made 2 weeks out then cancelled and wasn’t able to re-​schedule for 4 more days.
The tech showed up an hour past the scheduled window time, I had to call to find out if he was still coming. His work, so far was good and he was friendly, but he gave me an estimate. And then charged an hour plus an extra half hour even though the he was only here 45 minutes. Then added a $ 9 «fuel sur charge» to my bill. I live 10 miles from their facility which is well within their range.

This company installs appliances for Albert Lee Appliance. When I phoned for installation, first the fellow on the phone quoted a price that was higher than what Albert Lee said it would be; then, even though my location is within their service range, he added an extra $ 50 to come to my house. I said I’d try to find someone locall to do the job. When that didn’t work out, I called them again, and was told that no, they did not serve my area, period. The map on their website says they serve the entire I-​5 corridor. Thankfully Albert Lee was able to find another installer. For all the noise about excellent service on their website, these guys were not helpful.
