Enjoyed our lunch in the beautiful golf course. Fun atmosphere with very friendly staff. I had the special gumbo and it was very good. The chef nailed the gumbo as great as a true southern gumbo. My husband had the burger with homemade chips… excellent!

I love coming here for wings and drinks. My only complaint is the service is slow even when its slow. Also they charge you 50cent for ranch and bring out the tiniest container. Thats good for one fry and half a wing only. The wings are so good I keep coming back.

Love this place, that is also my friends favorate place to celebrare their birthdays. Food is always great, they use very good quality products. Love the in house smoked chicken, ribs and for lunch my choice is always the chop chop salad. My friend always gets the salmon and loves it too. We can stay and have fun for long time and staff is always friendly and inviting. Thanks for the great time!

Went here for lunch the other day, wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was really good! The staff was curteous, the ambience was pleasant, the prices weren’t outrageous, and the salmon cobb salad was divine and exactly what I wanted. I would love to check out the dinner menu sometime! Thanks to everyone there for making our lunch enjoyable.

My husband and I had dinner there, this past Saturday, as a local jazz artist we like was playing there. The restaurant/atmosphere was nice, the service was good and the music was great. As far as the food goes, not so great. The calamari was previously frozen and pressed. It came with French fries and sauce. Calamari is supposed to be stringy. The fish, in the fish and chips, tasted like fish you can buy at Ivar’s. I couldn’t even eat the half rack ribs as the rub was way too spicy. The salads were okay — too much lettuce. The crème bruilee was okay, but it tasted like there was shortening in it. If we go there, again, we will have drinks only and that’s it. We ended up paying, with tip, around $ 80.00.

Nice restaurant at the golf course. Some golf course«restaurants» are more like a café, but this is a full restaurant with good menu selections and plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. Great ambiance and service! I had the soup and salad combo with chili as my soup. Their chili is delicious and has hefty portions of chopped brisket along with black beans and fresh tomatoes, and of course topped off with shredded cheese. The brisket is moist and tender and next time I will have to try their brisket sandwich!

I would go here for a drink but I wasn’t impressed with the food. My friends and I got appetizers during happy hour. I ordered the pesto flat bread. It was OK but nothing special. My friends got nachos which they said were very dry. They also got the catfish and said that wasn’t very good either. I liked the atmosphere and drinks, so certainly go and hang out but eat elsewhere.

Totally wasn’t sure what to expect coming here for dinner. But we wanted to give it a try. And happy we did. Great service. The restaurant area huge, with a nice size bar and great outside seating area. Good size menu and they have a happy hour! The wings here are amazing! I was surprised how good they were. Would have to say this is now gonna be my go to place for wings! We got the filet tidbits, my husband loved these. It did come with a lot of rice. Also shared the blacken chicken burger. You can really taste the spice!!! I would highly recommend trying their wings and brownie dessert. That is now gonna be my regular order!

We went here for a retirement party after work. Highlights, the server calling my manager big daddy We ordered ribs(sadly no pics) flatbread, filet tidbits, nachos, spinach artichoke dip and fries Gorgonzola Ribs– star of the show, crispy on the outside with light sauce and meat was fall off the bone tender, really good! Chicken tatzhiki flatbread, was ok the chicken was dry and I could have been more happy if the sauce wasn’t was thick and actually spread on the flatbread like a pizza Filet tidbits– so much rice OMG. The steaks were tender a bit dry and cut too thin and doused in a little too much teriyaki sauce… Maybe I’m spoiled by Ruth’s Chris Nachos– standard fare… Nothing too special. Spinach artichoke dip– good with very little. I felt like there was way too much mayo. Jokingly told the guys to have a contest to see how many gobs of it someone could eat with out throwing up Fries Gorgonzola– was pretty tastey it was like a version of poutine that I approved of, we actually ordered 2 more of these throughout the night. T The ambiance was alright, I wouldn’t go here alone to prowl or anything, but would come back for the ribs he fries were cross cut and fried perfectly and the amount of sauce was perfect. Between these and the ribs I’d be back sometime.

Nice Bar for drinks and bar food. Very nice for a group get-together with tables that can be combined. Also plenty private for personal discussions.

Went here for a lunch meeting and it was pretty good. A few of us ordered different entrees so we could taste test. Their bbq bacon burger was the favorite out of the group and it was my favorite because of the bacon and grilled onions that were on the burger.

This is my neighborhood place — the place where you feel at home and the food and service are consistent and the location is ideal. Love it.

This place is great! I’m big on customer service and the servers were very prompt and courteous. They were always checking back to see if I needed anything and very friendly. As far as the food goes… I love their hot wings and the veggie frittata omelet. I will be returning most definitely! =)

I had such expectations for a gathering with friends. This is the worst service I’ve had in a long time. It’s my first trip to Billy Baroo’s and likely my last. They fail to wow and our waitress(Mandy) failed to make herself available. I ordered the coconut prawns, they were fine but overlooked. I subbed a salad instead of the fries, the waitress did not know that the sub charge was $ 2, she thought it would be $ 6. She did not know what the house bourbon was during happy hour. She knew so little about the place that I wondered if it was her first day. It was not, she’s been here eight months. Let me clarify that 95% of my reviews are positive. It takes a lot for me to rate a happy hour below four stars. Get it together, Billy Baroo’s!

We had the brisket sandwich topped with cole slaw and the Toasted Cuban. Billy Baroo’s smokes all their meats in-house, and you could definitely tell with the Brisket. Very moist and flavorful. The bbq sauce was a background flavor, not dominant and the cole slaw tasted very fresh and flavorful. The Toasted Cuban had smoked turkey and ham on it, complimented with poblano mayonnaise. Very good. If there was a draw back — I could name two things from my visit — Brisket only served as a sandwich — not a main course meal … and their home-made chips were a little overcooked.

The only reason we drove 30 minutes to this restaurant was for the full rack of ribs at the half rack price. It starts at 5pm, we came in at 6pm, we ordered 4 racks and 30 minutes later they told us they could only give us 2. We called the manager over and to ask if there was anything she could do, and she then told us, well if you want to order we only have 1 rack left. She did not offer any appetizers, desserts, drinks. nothing! The manager had an attitude the whole time, we will not be coming back.

Came here for a birthday dinner hearing from my friends that the food is terrific! Boy was I let down… I should of known to not rely on those positive comments that commonly frequent places like Red Robin and Cheese Cake Factory and claim the food there is above par than most. SMH… I thought I would order something safe and even asked the server her suggestions between fish and chips and fettucine alfredo. She suggested the pasta… First of all, I can understand when you have a large party of 10+ people the food would come at different times. My dish came in a decent time. My buddies who ordered the same exact thing as me as well as my other friend next to him got theirs 45 min later… Now to the food, boy oh boy was this the thickest, richest and creamiest pasta I’ve ever had… If you have a heart condition, high cholesterol, or any other condition, avoid ordering this… I think this is my first 2 star review so I think it will tell you how much I thought of the food. The facility is pretty nice, plenty of room to house a party of 10+.

the downside of working off interurban ave is there aren’t many places to eat. I end up at billy baroo’s at least a couple times a month for lunch, because it’s close and vendors are buying. end up here after work hours with vendors nearly as often for the same reason. the atmosphere for a «19th hole» at a golf course is surprisingly classy. they have several televisions on the walls for sports, but it’s pretty low key. not a sports bar vibe or anything. the food isn’t spectacular, but it’s decent. on par with an appleby’s or red robin type chain kitchen. but the bar shines, they have about twenty microbrews on tap. while it would be nice to have a bit more variety, I won’t complain too much. and come summertime, those eight or so rotating IPAs will seem a lot more appealing. it’s not my first choice go-to for a bar or anything, but I’ve never turned down an invite to head over there. that counts for something, right?

I’ve gone to Billy Baroo’s for lunch on three different occasions and it is consistent. The quality of the food on a 1 to 5 scale about 3. Nothing spectacular, but serviceable. You have to keep in mind this place is at the Foster Golf Course in Tukwila, which is not the culinary capital of the Northwest. I had the french dip, which had the thinnest sliced beef, kind of like Arby’s. Fortunately the au jus had plenty of flavor, otherwise it would have been a bland sandwich. On the previous visits I had the bacon cheese burger and then the chicken salad. Both were good, but not spectacular. A lot better than Applebee’s. Our server My was the same on all 3 visits and did a great job. Very attentive and quick to answer any question. Kudos to her! Ample parking and no line to get a table makes it a good place for a work lunch.
