Ok when this place first started I loved it. As the time goes by this place is deteriorating fast. The food is getting ridiculously pathetic, Ordered teriyaki chicken and the chicken is the size of a green pea. I am not kidding, pea size chicken *sprinkle* on top of rice. WTF?! Will not go back again. In the past there has been nothing but declining portion of food and this is the last straw. Fries(easy and cheap to make, MickyD is selling for 1 dollar and still make $ off it) + some meat on top should never cost $ 7. If the meat portion was plenty then yes it is great but sadly the owner is simply trying to kill business.

I had a great Burger for lunch today. Juicy burger, soft toasted Ciabatta. I suggest adding bacon. It is the best. Try the vanilla Rootbeer from the Coke machine. It’s like having a Rootbeer float! I didn’t know they use Eegee’s ranch. Awesome.

Ack! I loved the food until I got sick afterward! Like, really, REALLY sick! I got the vegetarian poutine and I’m wondering if the white gravy they used had been sitting because no one orders it? Not sure. I loved the place, though. Their music was great and an awesome atmosphere. I won’t be going back unfortunately.

I just don’t get the concept. I’m lost when it comes to putting gravy on fries. Cheese curds kinda make sense but I get cheese curds from family in Wisconsin and these are not nearly as delicious. I thought I’d be blown away by the side of fried cheese curds, for the same reason, but it just tasted like something you’d get from Jack in the Box. No love in it. The pricing is what you should expect for most fast food places lately($ 7-$ 8) and the portions are reasonable. I would have liked a little more toppings and it doesn’t seem optimal to serve this in a Chinese food container as you end up eating the toppings first and then there you sit with gravy fries, so you end on a sad note. I’m not trying to say this place is total crap, but it’s certainly not for me. The TOPPINGS of «Pork 3 Ways» were quite delicious. I could have made the«Cheeseburger Poutine» at home and made it way better. Actually anyone can, so… not at all impressive. Oh, and one more note, they were out of our first two choices(Beef and Crispy Onion, and Philly Cheesesteak) on a Saturday night at 10:30(they’re open until 4am BTW).

What an amazing concept. I know you think to yourself«It’s just French fries, covered in gravy with cheese curds». Okay, what about when you BBQ pulled pork, thin sliced ham and some thick bacon? You have pure genius. And deliciousness. The customer service here is always on point and I appreciate their positive attitudes. Inside looks cool AF too. I miss FatBurger but US Fries is a wistful replacement.

Really liked the atmosphere and the food was great. Fifties and 60’s music and great variety of fries. I had the bbq pork sandwich with fries and my daughter had the cheeseburger fries. She really liked them. Very filling.

Just had the best Poutine this side of Canada. Maybe even the other side too! I would recommend the Philly Cheese steak, but can’t go wrong with any of the dishes on the menu, or create your own! Whoever heard of Curry Poutine?!? Great Great Great Friendly staff and owner led us through the menu during the Tuscon 4th Street winter festival. Great food, great people and great value.

«American Poutine» caught my attention! What a fun concept! It is perfect for a college town! Use their Groupon! We got 2 regular size fries, a soda, and a bottled water for what the Groupon covered + 82 cents… I got the Sweet BBQ Pulled Pork. The jalapenos were spicy! The pork was good! Lots of flavor and was pretty tender. The gravy and cheese curds were good and the whole meal was nice and hot! Tim got the hamburger fries which I didn’t think would be as good as they were! I tried some and liked it too. He really liked them. Except for the pickles, which I ate… I like that they have a wide variety of options. And they are mostly things that you wouldn’t think of on fries! And their online menu has pictures of all the options so you have an idea of what you are getting! I am new to the whole pountine thing but was very pleasantly surprised the first time I tried it. And this place was as good as the food truck I had it at the first time.

Do NOT come here! My boyfriend and I were here on 11⁄14. There was almost a riot in this joint because multitudes of people were waiting about an hour for their food. I saw the most disgusting thing that I have ever seen in a food establishment at this place. One of workers took a handful of food WITHTHEIRBAREHANDS and PUTITINTOANORDER. I couldn’t believe what I saw. I instantly called this establishment out. The dude barely washed his hands afterward and then put on gloves. It doesn’t end there. Right afterward, the same guy(his name is Joe) kept touching his hair and nose/face REPEATEDLY. He literally walked off of the line. I was so thankful that he did. I never want to see that kid in a kitchen. After close to an hour, I finally got my food. They didn’t warm up the gravy. They took it back. At the end of the night, they were down to two workers and a manager. The manager scheduled two new people and a cashier on the night of the Utah vs. Tucson win. What the hell is that guy thinking? The manager, Kat, needs to talk a walk! I give major credit to Yvette and Saul. Saul had his head on straight. He worked hard and wasn’t a complete waste of space unlike Joe. Joe literally walked back and forth doing nothing. He whispered the names of orders only one time. Yvette needs a raise. Make her the manager. That poor girl was shaking the whole time. Shame on this craphole!

We were in Tucson for parent’s weekend at University of Arizona. My wife and I were going to take our oldest out for a nice meal and needed to get food for our younger kids, who were not going out with us that evening. They wanted burgers, so I went to trusty old Unilocal and low and behold US Fries(@USFries) popped up with 3.5 stars out of 5. So I thought to myself that isn’t too bad for a fast food place and, helpfully, it was near where we were staying. So off I went to get some grub. It wasn’t long before I was back at our place with two hamburgers, a cheeseburger and a bunch of fries. The kids ate a lot of what was ordered and seemed to generally like it though there were two issues. First, they use ciabatta buns and they apparently were kind of hard and the kids didn’t really like them(though they liked the burgers). Second, they weren’t really impressed with the fries. Only two really at me the fries. But therein lies the rub. Both kids who ate the fries ended up with stomach issues. Yes, those kind of stomach issues. The kind of stomach issues that cause your 10 year old daughter to wake you up in the middle of the night stomach issues. YUCK! So how does a place named«US Fries» screw up its namesake food? Did we just get a bad batch? Was it a terrorist french fry attack? Alas, we will never know, but you can be sure that this is one family that will avoid US Fries and only side with non-terrorist french fries? 10÷15÷15 Tom — Thanks for you response. We ordered food early evening last Friday, October 9. As I noted, both liked whatever type of burger or main course they ordered. The two who became ill had different main course, but each had the fries. Interestingly, one had them with her meal and the other had an hour or so later and each became ill in time based on when they ate the fries.

I came in with a groupon which was good– got the green curry chicken flavor and as a whole it was ok, but it’s very very salty! I would not come here again because I can make this better at home. This was Friday Sept 4th– and ps I’m Canadian, I know my fries and gravy !

Poutine? Yes! My first time trying a Poutine dish! Didn’t know exactly what they were so I went to their website and checked out the menu. Turns out that many of the dishes appealed to me. We didn’t just happen to stumble upon this place. It was offered and I purchased a Groupon deal. We were visiting the Tucson area and staying at our timeshare in Oro Valley. We came here after spending the day in Tombstone. Parking was a challenge but we got lucky and there was a spot right in front of the restaurant. The gal behind the counter saw that we(me and my hubby), and another customer behind us looked lost while looking up at the many choices above us and since it was our first time she explained what a Poutine was. Very friendly and helpful. Ended up having the Bacon(thick sliced bacon and scallions) and my hubby chose the Pot Roast(tender roast beef with scallions). We both shared and enjoyed our meal. Very tasty and delicious. So what is a Poutine? the base are French Fries, Cheese Curds and Gravy… then you choose from the menu what type of dish you want. The meal is conveniently served in a ‘to go’ box so if you are not able to finish it you can just close the lid. Wish we had this in California. I understand that this is the first poutinerie location in the West Coast. They also offered vegetarian Poutine and burgers. Thank you, Tom! Wish I got the name of your fabulous gal who served us on Sunday around 5:00p… she also kept the place clean — — — — — . Response to Tom J(Owner) Responding to your feedback, Tom, Yes! please do give them credit for great service and recommendation! We were there Sunday, Sept 6, 2015 at 4:55p, that was the day and time my Groupon was redeemed and validated :)

So, French fries, then gravy, awesome meat and such toppings, and cheese curds. Daaaang. I had never had cheese curds, much less inside a meal with gravy fries as the base. I live 70 miles from this place and made a trip to eat here and then do my other business. The service is good, you feel welcomed when you walk in, and they act like they want you here and to enjoy your meal(Because they DO). The food is awesome, and interesting. Instead of the same old today, do yourself a favor, bring a friend and get two regular meals(of different types) to share so you can get in a few flavors in one visit. You can thank me later.

Great food and great customer service! My only complaint is that there is not a lot of seating. Being located on 4th, this makes a great place for a drunken snack as they are open late into the night. If you enjoy poutine or even just enjoy loaded fries, you will enjoy this place. They also just started selling burgers and deep fried cheese curds. Honestly though, I think hit up Lindy’s for a burger and then here for poutine if you’re still hungry. The small looked too small for a meal alone for me, but it was actually very filling and I barely finished it. They have a condiment bar where you can load up on ketchup, malt vinegar, or anything else you may want to top off your fries with. They also have one of those soda machines that dispenses all different kinds of soda, with the ability to add«vanilla» «cherry» and other flavors to your drink. The manager came by and made sure we were doing great, and even refilled our drinks for us even though its a self service drink station. I thought this was great!

I had been meaning to try this place ever since I had heard rumors of their opening. I’m a big fan of poutine and most people out here have simply never heard of it, and when they do hear what it is they shy away in disgust. That is, until they actually try it, and then the genius of poutine becomes clear: French fries, brown gravy, cheese curds. Delicious. Think of it as french-canadian comfort food: their version of mac and cheese. I can dig it. I forced the wife to come with me under duress. It was kind of a Poutine ambush, and my plan worked perfectly. She ordered the vegetarian and I ordered the original and we decided to share an order of fried cheese curds. Her review has already been posted, but it was MY idea to go with the curry sauce for the curds. When the guy behind the counter heard my request he squinted and nodded a little as if to say«you sly dog» but then replied, «yeah, we could swing that». I liked his style, too. Moments later, our food arrived. The curds were fantastic, and I do recommend the curry sauce. We also had ranch, a classic, which was great. US Fries does their actual French Fries really well: exterior texture was perfectly crisp to stand up to the wetness of the gravy, while still steamy and moist on the interior. Good job, here. I tried both the dishes, as did my wife. This is not exactly her thing anyway, but she said she would return in the future if I requested, which was about the most I would have expected to get out of her anyway. As for me, the vegetarian gravy was just ok. I mean, it was flavorful considering its vegetarian, I guess. It wouldn’t have been what I would have ordered as a second or even 5th option on the menu, so I can’t judge too harshly here. It was ok. My traditional poutine was pretty darn good. The cheese curds were on point. The brown gravy was so so close to perfect but not QUITE what I want in a brown gravy. There was something off about the saltiness I think. Anyway, it was very good though. All in all, I will be back to try some of the more enticing menu items like the curry poutine. That sounds just awesome. Well done, boys!

So, cheese curds, gravy… these are not my things. My husband really wanted to eat here, and being the kind wife that I am, I agreed. I will give the staff this; they are all SO nice! Really. I was very impressed with the guy that rang us up. He was kind, helpful and fun. I wish I could remember his name to give him serious props. I ordered the vegetarian, and hubby got the original and we also got a side of cheese curds. We ordered some curry sauce on the side, and the curry with the cheese curds was delicious! I cannot emphasize how tasty it was! Our orders came out, and mine was actually better than I thought it would be. If I listened really carefully I could hear my left ventricle closing while I ate it, but it was pretty good. The fries were cooked just a little extra long, to make them extra crispy to avoid the sog factor, which I appreciated because I took most of it home. The original was good, according to my husband. I don’t really care for brown gravy so much, but I did try it, and I thought it was fine. He liked it a lot more than I did. I will probably be back, since my husband was so in love with it. I will get the vegetarian again, although they did have a sheppard’s pie one that looked good. One thing is for sure, though. I will get a side of cheese curds, and I will get curry sauce to dip them in.

1st time here & I must say I’m very pleased never thought fries & gravy but wanting something different made me stop by; although this was my third attempt at trying to eat here being the local on 4th ave & the parking not so great I was extremely happy I found parking right away. With two sizes to choose from I got the regular & that was plenty in fact I couldn’t even finish & had to give the rest to my brother. U.S. Fries a place I will definitely return to try a different type of fries :)

BELLYBOMB … Huge waste of food. They serve it in a cheap food truck kind of flimsy cardboard box. It is hot but in a short time it is a huge soggy, sloppy mess. Unless if you like glob of cheese, mushy french fries covered in a salty gravy with a hint of meat. The meat serving is very small for the price. I think most of the money goes into the strange décor. Wait counter dude was new and nice. I will never go back.
