As a new patient I’m not impressed. An hour past my scheduled appointment and still waiting. I was informed that Dr. McDonald normally runs«one to two hour late». Wow! What an unprofessional way to run a practice. If I could give a zero star rating I certainly would.

As a medical provider myself, I am completely disappointed in the clerical staff in this office. It takes at least 15 minutes of hold time to get through on the phone and my appointments have been moved without my consent for every visit scheduled. If that wasn’t enough, when I was having an emergent medical situation it took more than 5 phone calls, a drop in to the office and 3 days to finally get a perscription. Having worked in a urology office while I was a college student, I understand the demanding and busy schedule, but this is outright patient neglect. I really like Dr. Suffacool as a person and physician, but questioning whether it’s worth it.

Spent 2 ½ hours in the waiting room for a scheduled appointment. Dumped into a room by an assistant, while they stood outside the door and talked all about another patients diagnosis. Was summoned out of the room where Dr. McDonald at UASA gave me my CANCERDIAGNOSIS while standing in the middle of a public corridor.(HIPPA violations anyone?) Showed me my tumor on the c.t. and then said«I’m not going to answer any questions, right now. I’ll make an appointment with you after your MRI. «And then handed us off to an assistant who practically ran us out of the office. Was then to be scheduled for a MRI within the next 2 – 3 days, but Dani one of his office workers screwed around for DAYS«getting approval» from our Insurance so we could finally make an appointment. She told me she would contact me the next morning when I called her the next afternoon she was just short of abusive to me on the phone.(«I TOLD you I would call YOU when I got approval!!»)(We called our insurance after 2 days and they had not been contacted by UASA and furthermore they did not need authorization to schedule me for an MRI.) Other contacts with her were similarly unpleasant. The only pleasant encounter was with Denise who worked at the front desk. Do NOT go to this horrible man, or his rude unpleasant staff. I have course have found another doctor and will be trying to get Dr. McAwful board sanctioned.

Wow. Just wow. I am in pain, was referred here by TMC Emergency Room for follow up. Called to make appointment, and gave insurance information at that time. Note: I gave my insurance information. Maybe I should repeat that. …I gave them my insurance information. So, I show up for appointment, looking forward to answers of any kind and relief. Front desk staff, extremely curt. «Where is your new patient paperwork?» Huh? Was I supposed to receive that through the phone? So, I fill out paoerwork, head up to front desk and… lo and behold, they aren’t contracted with my insurance company, and I will need to pay out of pocket. The whole point of insurance is so I don’t have to pay a lot, out of pocket. I politely decline and say I will go through my insurance company. «Well can you at least put anything down today?» They ask. «For what?» I think. «No, I’ll go through my insurance, that’s what it’s for.» Again, politely. «Are you sure you can’t put anything down?» Um…right.
