Trunk Or Treat

I realize that there are many Trunk or Treat events throughout the area, but this is the one I went to, so this is the one I’m reviewing.
The one we attended is sponsored by a nearby Lutheran Church. I have to admit that I’d join the congregation for a completely wrong reason. .. to participate in Trunk or Treat next year. The deal is that the members of the church park in a huge circle with the trunk of their cars facing the inside of the circle. All the cars are decorated with a different theme. Kiddies walk around from car to car and collect candy. Awesome for the kids, awesome for me. I loved seeing the different themes. There was a jungle vehicle with the owners dressed in safari style clothes. There was a vampire guy laying down in his trunk playing dead and scaring kids every once in a while. There was a hippie vehicle, a beach theme vehicle, a spaceship, and of course, lots of scary vehicles. I loved the way some people went all out in the decorating even playing music to fit their theme. They also have concession stands, jumping castles and a tractor-​pulled hayride. I was very pleasantly surprised at the whole thing! The only thing I wonder is who won the trunk decorating contest.
And yes, I have ideas as to how I’d decorate my car.
