great place loved it plenty to do and see only problem it was a little pricey would love to go back more often money would be the issue with I would recommend bring the price down a little and more people will come back more often but still a five star

Wow! What a great zoo. Way more than to be expected in Tucson. They feature shared habitation, and you’ll find peacocks all over the place — just wandering and settling wherever they want (well, not near the Panther).
Three different types of bears in this rather small zoo. A huge, wonderful bird exhibit. Their South America section rocks; you’re practically just walking around with the animals. The signs on the trail ways say «Zoo staff and animals only» lol. It’s a riot.
Sad: really elderly lions in small habitats. The monkey and ape exhibits are spread out and a little disappointing. But the giraffes are young and beautiful — the best part of the zoo (well, except for the polar bears who steal the show).
Totally worth going.
