What a great recycling facility! Staff were friendly and helpful. I’ve come by several times with my truck full of cardboard boxes for them to recycle. Last time I was in, I got a load of their organic compost (sold as Tank’s Green Stuff) to try out in a raised garden bed I made. Plants are doing great!

Yes it’s a landfill, but it’s kind of awesome.
We had a bunch of demolition debris from our bathroom. So we loaded up our trailer and drove on over. They weigh you on the way in and then again on the way out. It’s $ 28 a ton with a $ 15 minimum. If you’re like us and just have a little trailer I doubt you’d ever pay more than $ 15.
The staff was very efficient on guiding us where to go. It’s pretty organized.
The awesome part was watching all the crazy machinery move and organize crazy levels of trash. They also have the largest composter I’ve ever seen.
It’s totally in town, right off of Speedway on Prudence so its pretty convenient. Who knew?

if you have never been to a land fill, you simply must go!!! its the best /​worst place ever!!! you pay to dump your debris into a giant manmade hole, where they will some day build a massive tan apartment complex, named «old farm» «tangle wood» or «las blanco mesquite village» its the biggest scam ever, they need the fill, but you have to pay, they should be paying us,. without us, there is no them!!!, and there will be no «tangle wood». but other than that, the speedway landfill has a nice staff, and its fun to make a mess in a giant hole (did i just write that) now get a truck and go dump your load at the «speedway land fill, you’ll be glad you did!!!
