I understand that this location is really busy, but the customer service is just not up to par here. On my last trip in, I had a particularly bad experience and I can say I will not be stopping in here ever again.

your review helps others learn about great local businesses. please don’t review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you’re connected in any way to the owner or employees. just just had another unsatisfactory wait at irvington… two unfriedly barristas… the woman ahead of me waited forever for a knife to cut her sandwich in half! i am sure it was cold by the time it arrived!!! why is it some starbucks will cut things in half and others won’t?

First, I will start out saying that what I’m writing here reflects my views of most Starbucks locations that I visit however, in all fairness to the establishment I won’t say they’re all like this. Consistently inconsistent due to time of day, location, and barista I feel. I come here quite often as it’s not outside my normal circle of travel. I decided to go with two stars on the rating because I’m not really happy with my drinks here. I feel like the only time my order is correct, is at night when it’s slow. I’ve noticed that the barista’s will intentionally make my order wrong if I’ve ordered something they don’t agree with or they feel they are pressed for time. My drink usually isn’t filled to the top either. So not only is my drink wrong but it’s less than what I’ve paid for as well. On many occasions I’ve had to argue to get my drink remade. Strange considering«The barista promise» advertised on their cups. All in all the people are mostly friendly but their service and attention to detail lacks. I don’t mind waiting for good quality service and a correct order but I get really frustrated with the opposite and an excuse attached. Sadly, I’ve come to expect my order to be wrong at this location. As we all know, it’s easy to see our orders being made from the drive thru in any standard size vehicle or while standing inside, my accusations of my drink being incorrect don’t come from me guessing. Let’s not forget my taste buds know too. I don’t want this to be all bad so I will end with this– the location has great customer and is extremely clean. About three days ago they did give me two free drinks because I forgot my wallet and the Starbucks app wasn’t working properly for me to pay using my phone. Thank you for that.

I have stopped in here several times, it’s a good break point driving between Phoenix and El Paso. I have always found the service and the food and drinks(English breakfast tea — mmmm) to be great. It’s usually busy so I can see why some might get frustrated but weather I’m here with all 4 of my kids getting lunch or just taking a break I enjoy my visit. Keep up the good work.

Slowest Starbucks around. I could make 20 coffees in the 15 minutes it takes them to serve 5 cars…

I’m not really a coffee drinker and I usually only come over here for the green tea frappé; my last visit it seems like the flavor somewhat lacked like if they really don’t get people who ordered my drink of choice. Nonetheless it’s a chain coffee shop one which some people rant and rave over I find it there OK. I guess if I were more of a coffee drinker and I would have more to say about this place but since I’m not I can give it three stars not too bad.

The people are friendly and the location is convenient. The drive through, however, always takes a while.

This is a busy startbucks. But I still love it! The coffee is great, and the staff is sweet. I came in during a not so busy weekday with my daughter, ordered coffee and sat down to eat our panda express. The Barista came over a couple minutes later an offered an extra plate for my daughter(she was eating off a napkin because we were sharing food) and it just made me so happy that she was like looking out for us like that. It was a small random act of kindness that went a very long way. Something like that, says a lot about the business. I mean really, I didn’t even know they had plates for customers to use! Anyways. Its not just about the amaazziinngg coffee ;The staff is just as amazing!

Love this location, love the people, love the food, love the drinks. The drive-through is getting faster. Early in the morning I use it rather going inside anytime!!!

Drive thru is horrible!!! Do not use the drive thru unless you have at-least 30 minutes to waist. I’ve been late to work waiting in line. And once your in line there is no backing out! The lobby is faster but still sub pat com paired to other Starbucks. People are friendly and nice but service is slow at times. Recently remodeled so there is plenty seating. (been waiting in drive thru for 20 minutes! 4 cars ahead of me) When will I learn!

***Update*** This location still sucks. Going on three days of them not having vanilla syrup. Can the manager really not at least get their inventory orders right?! I’m giving this location two stars only because I’ve never had my drink come out wrong. However, this is definitely the SLOWEST Starbucks I have ever been to. Going inside to get your drink takes at least 15 – 20 minutes and the drive-thru is literally a 30 – 40 minute ordeal. It’s ridiculous. Not once has an employee apologized for the long wait. There’s always plenty of people working. I’m completely baffled by how slow they are. It certainly should not take this long to make coffee beverages.

We are going on over 40 minute wait in the drive thru for a drip coffee. This is the slowest store and the least busy I’ve been to. We are finally at the window and it took 8 minutes to get our drip coffee. We asked if we were still being charged after the exorbitant wait and the employee, Lea, as polite as could be said«absolutely». We then proceeded to ask for the district manager card only to have the manager come over and apologize. Really?! I worked at Starbucks all though college and it was never an issue to keep our customers happy and issue a drink comp. apparently the policy has changed? My father that is terminally ill and at the near VA hospital asked that we bring him a Starbucks drip coffee. It took over an hour for his coffee to come to him with no sincere apology or try to remedy the situation. Management, do you read the Unilocal reviews? This location has a problem and needs to be addressed. This is not a busy drive thru it should not have taken more than 5 – 10 minutes. We are utterly disappointed and upset that an outing away from my father’s bedside turned into an ordeal.

I agree with the reviews; avoid the drive through and plan to head inside to order. Once inside though I’ve never run into any concerns. Very friendly baristas, newly renovated and the baristas are always looking out for you and make you feel welcome and at ease. Yesterday I had a birthday reward that expired too quickly from last Thursday that they still honored; appreciated that immensely.

Thought I could give it another chance. This is what I said.“iced grande quad shot with 4 pumps white mocha”…then she asked of it was a latte or an espresso… so I broke it down for her and said«grande with 4 shots of espresso and 4 pumps of white mocha and then fill the cup with ice, no milk»…my total 3.62…the wait time wasn’t slow as molasses slow, I waited 7 – 10 min max… but when I got my drink, it was in a tall cup with light ice and I had about an inch of room. Maybe I’m too picky, I didn’t even bother to change it. I wonder what I would’ve gotten had I ordered in a venti… anyways this Starbucks is going to be remodeled, I hope their customer service will be too

I really hate this Starbucks. My drink is always wrong. Drive thru takes 40 minutes on average. Inside takes 20 minutes. Employees are always laughing, like excuse me, just make my drink, I don’t care if you’re happy. But it’s the only one on the south side so I don’t boycott like I should. (Angsty sigh)

Seriously slow!!! By far the slowest Starbucks I’ve been too. And it’s 11am… not what I’d think of as peak hours. And a «couldn’t care less» attitude from the girl who gave me my drink.

Literally the worst drive through ever, it takes almost an hour at times to get through and has to be the slowest Starbucks in all of Tucson

Took 15 Min to get caramel iced coffee when there was hardly anyone in front of me and it tasted like nothing. I think this is a drive thru first type place. They get priority. Be prepared to wait forever.

So it’s Starbucks… You pretty much know what you are going to get(taste-wise anyway). Because of their location, they are always very busy, so be prepared to wait a while to be able to place your order. And then even longer to have it made. Yes, the employees are friendly and helpful … But at a cost(increased wait times for everyone)!

I was not a Starbucks fan until recently! Now I can’t get enough of it! Especially this location! Everyone u always super friendly and they love my little Yorkie through the window(she goes for the car ride). They always get it right from my difficult drink to my simple iced coffee. And you can connect to the wifi in the drive thru!
