Sayco did a great job for us today when our unit malfunctioned. Nicole was a real pro to talk to and had Luis at our home very quickly. He diagnosed a bad run capacitor, replaced it with a temp until the new one arrives and charged a reasonable labor charge(part under warranty). This unit was purchased in 2010 from Sayco by a previous owner who did meticulous homework on every vendor he selected. I understand why he chose Sayco!

This company is so disorganized that it’s pathetic. They came out for the first time for an annual check up last year and everything was fine on my five year old unit. This year they came out to check on a problem and found the unit almost out of refrigerant, the expansion valve was broken and on this last visit, the control board needs to be replaced. The service coordinator forgot about us for almost two weeks in spite of me calling every other day. When they finally came back out to fix it, they spent a lot of time waiting for something to happen. They then called me and said they would call Monday to let me know what the bill would be. They called me Tuesday and forcefully said they needed to collect on the bill. I’m done with these people.

Sayco installed a Carrier Heat Pump at our house one May. From the get-go, it didn’t work… at all. No cold air. During the course of the long hot summer Sayco sent technicians to our home but they could never diagnose the problem. They asked me to get an electrician to look at my electrical set-up. I did. He found no problem. By now it’s September and we’ve had no A/C ALLSUMMERLONG. I asked Sayco to replace the unit. They refused. I filed with BBB and hired a lawyer. Now Sayco gets busy! They find the problem… after 4 months of summer heat. It’s a bad reversing value. They replace it but refuse to admit they messed-up. They’re angry I filed with BBB. Over the course of the next few seasons, technicians from other companies service the unit and find multiple installation problems due to Sayco, such as an incorrectly installed thermostat. Furthermore, the Carrier unit floods our home twice. Water damage. Insurance claims. At last we replace the unit with a Trane; work not by Sayco. Moral: never, ever do business with Sayco

We have had Sayco come out twice. The first time, our AC stopped working. The unit would run, but the air coming out of the vents wasn’t cold. Sayco came out right away and quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem(replaced the run capacitors for the compressor). They also found a bad previous repair(burnt electrical terminals – previous owner repair) and replaced those, all for a very reasonable price. The most recent visit was because we heard unusual noises coming from the unit. Again, they came out very quickly. The technician checked it out, and determined there is nothing wrong, and in fact the unit is in very good condition, particularly for its age. It would have been so easy for him to claim major repairs or replacement is needed, but Sayco has very honest, friendly technicians. We will continue to call them for all of our HVAC repairs.
