Rossetti Remodelers And Window Specialists

I had Rossetti remodel a kitchen, remove a wall, and install new flooring in half my house in early 2012. The job started out fine, they completed probably 75% of the work (including some additions i asked for) in 2 weeks. The remaining 25% took another month, done at a rate of about 5 – 10 hours per week. There was some waiting for countertops (not their fault, getting granite cut takes a while), but getting little things like baseboards and moldings between floor surfaces finished up seemed to take forever. They also had to repaint the ceiling twice due to poor work. A trailer filled with debris sat in my driveway for a month, during the period when almost no work was going on.
The end product came out fine, but the project itself had issues as it went along. An example: they cut flooring one foot outside of my garage, directly behind my car. I had asked them to not cut in the garage, as i didn’t want sawdust everywhere. My car and garage were completely covered with a fine layer of it. Another example: they forgot to put insulation back in a wall after they had removed a soffit in the kitchen. Another: they filled expansion gaps in my new flooring with liquid nails, causing it to buckle when things turned humid. Note that all the issues that came up were eventually fixed, except for the spot where the floor buckled (still waiting to get the molding reinstalled).
The owners are nice, the head sub-​contractor tries hard, but overall it was not a very good experience. Main problems: took a long time finish up, and the workers were sloppy with debris. I’ll look for someone else to finish the other half of the house.
