I can only think the negative reviews were a lack of communication.
Sue is very reasonable and I’m sure that she explained the billing which, in this case could have been confusing.
A negative rating is definitely not warranted.

The trainer Sue is AMAZING. Not only w me but I watched her work w others and how she adjusts her communication style until her student gets what she is saying rather than drilling the same words over and over as the student becomes more and more flustered. I’ve learned almost as much watching her w other people and other horses than I have from taking the lessons directly!

We love Rolling Hills Riding Academy! The instructor is knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and easy to work with. She works with children and adults of all ages and abilities. My three year old daughter and her friends have taken lessons with her, and Sue did an amazing job of making sure that all of the children were safe and comfortable. Her horses are well trained and well cared for. We are thrilled to have such a great riding school Oro Valley!

I had e displeasure of using this school for my daughters. The instruction was fine but the lady who gives lessons is a horrible business person. Any question I had for her regarding my bill was met with curt answers and flat out rudeness. Her billing changed (went up) without notice on a number of occasions. There are a lot of places to obtain riding instruction do yourself a favor and steer clear of Rolling Hills Riding Academy.

We used Rolling Hills Riding Academy for about a year for my step daughter. We had multiple issues with incorrect monthly bills. We tried for months on end to get the owner to resolve these billing issues. But, to no avail. She billed us for the days we didn’t have the girls, and refused to correct charges when we brought them to her attention. Besides refusing to get her bills right, she was curt, rude and disrespectful to the point where we finally decided to take our business elsewhere.
We found her to be completely unprofessional — I would seriously consider finding another barn and trainer who seems to actually cares about her customers.
