Great pizza and wings but be prepared to wait if its busy. This place is very popular and gets crowded especially on weekends and Wednesday wing night, but it’s worth the wait. They even have vegan options if you’re into that. I love the food here and the service is always friendly, even when they are extremely busy.

OK, you have redeemed yourself! My last pie-cut pizza was perfection. I have begrudgingly ordered pizzas from Rosatis, Hungry Howies, Marios and Angelos. I am so ashamed. They all sucked. I FINALLY got the perfect pizza that I have come to expect from Rocco’s! There was a six month problem period, but they are now back to reality. Thank you!

Best pizza I’ve ever had. I did not expect this in Tucson of all places. Give it a try and won’t regret it!

This is one of my favorite dining options in Tucson. Typically once a week, we walk down in the afternoon for a few beers, a dozen medium wings, and a 9″ kitchen sink. This is the best Chicago style pizza in town, and their beer selection, while small, is of great variety and is constantly rotating. If the draft doesn’t suit your fancy, they always have cans of dragoon IPA, Alpine pure hoppiness, and old style. The wings are the best in town, but can get very spicy. The flavor is amazing though despite the heat. Unelss you are willing to wait for the wing special, avoid wednesday nights. The staff is always friendly, and if i weren’t afraid of becoming morbidly obese, I would eat here nightly. Cheers, Roccos.

Take this review with a grain of salt because Pizza is a very subjective taste. Based on other Unilocal reviews people love them so try it out for yourself. I ordered the lunch special — slice of pizza and salad. Salad is huge pile of lettuce but not much else. I ate the tomato slices but the olives were bitter and the bacon bits didn’t taste real. Then they served my pizza slice. It looked(and in my opinion tasted) like a slice of dollar frozen pizza. It was burnt on the bottom and dried out on the top with some red sauce added right before they reheated it. I was so disappointed.

Went there for Wings Wed night. 50cents a wing, 5 minimum for one flavor, love the BBQ and hot sauce. Man this place is popular! But if you come here alone and just wanted to sit by the bar, you can start eating quickly.

Went here with my husband, 16 month old and our 5 month old. We ordered the Chicago style thin crusted pizza, the wait was ridiculous but expected. But when we finally got our pizza there was hair on it! And the waiter stupidly suggested to eat around it or said he could make us another pizza but it would take another 25 mins. Not gonna lie the pizza looked delicious so we waited for another pizza. We didn’t get an apology during our whole wait time and 25 mins+ is a long time in baby time. By the time we got our pizza our babies were fussy so we decided to take our pizza to go. We got punished for their mistake! when I asked for a discount on the pizza or something for the wait the waiter said the option was get $ 5 off our order or remake the pizza! The cherry on top: an older couple sitting behind us said they complained on our behalf because we shouldn’t have waited as long as we did for our food and they received a $ 5 off coupon which they gave to us! Definitely don’t recommend!!! no stars!

I can not comment on the pizza since we left after waiting 40 minutes for it to show up. But, the service I can comment on because it was so bad. Our waiter was not friendly and even when he dropped off the plate and silverware he never said anything and never gave us an update on why the pizza was taking so long. A pizza goes into an oven and how could it possible take more then 15 minutes to cook? Anyway, it was our first time and last time there. When I went up to the counter to pay for the two sodas we had, the guy at the register said oh.sorry like, I totally don’t care but, I am forced to say something and our server was looking at us and he never said a word. Dining out is supposed to be pleasurable. Not at Rocco’s apparently.

My husband’s favorite restaurant in all of Tucson — best deep dish you can find(dare I say better than you can find in Chicago?!) Their house salad is also delicious and their ranch, amazing(better than Eegee’s people!) Can’t go wrong with their hot sticks or wings either. Just go, you’ll see

Rocco’s Pizza was amazing! We got several pizzas, one being thick crust last Saturday. The dough was great and not heavy at all. If anything there was this magical airiness/lightness to the pizza allowing you to enjoy it to the end! Great prices too! Their selection of beer is diverse. We had Dragoon beer, which is also based/brewed locally. The owner, Rocco is wonderful. I had met him by chance on a bike ride earlier in the day and briefly mentioned this pizza place called Rocco’s Little Chicago pizzeria. Eating here is not just settling for what is around, eating here is a great experience and Rocco’s may have the best pizza or among the best pizzas that I have ever had!!! Boy was I lucky to be at the right place at the right time! Too bad I could not pack pizzas for the trip back to California. Thanks Rocco for everything!!!

My husband and I ordered the kitchen sink deep dish and that was delicious! We also ordered the wings and they were AMAZING! They were crisp and well seasoned. Their Caesar salad is also great tasting as is their chicken and stars soup. My daughter finished the entire cup portion and she’s only 14 months. Based on the food alone we’ll return for sure. The wait staff on the other hand can use improvement. Our waitress only checked on us once after taking our order. I had to track her down three different times by getting up from my chair and the hostess was very nice and helpful however, she had such short shorts on that when she bent over to reach the back of the table next to us to clean it you could literally see her cervix! I was embarrassed for my husband. Not tasteful at all.

We ordered the Hawaiian mixed drink and a coffee stout beer for drinks. Both were pretty terrible. The kegs blew for the two beers I wanted first. The server was great, and the saving grace was the deep dish pizza! It was better than average! One of the few joints in Tucson and it didn’t disappoint. Kind of disappointed I spent 14 $ on some terrible drinks, but the pizza made up for it! Update: after a second visit, their«deep dish pizza isnt what youd see in chicago. Disappointing. More of that«fake» deep dish many restaurants advertise.

BESTPIZZAINTUCSON. Absolutely delicious restaurant. We arrived at prime time dinner time on a Friday night so of course there was a wait for the food but we got a 2 seater table almost immediately. Ordered a deep dish pizza and a few appetizers. Our extremely nice waiter told us it would be a while for the pizza but he would make it up to us with FREE desert. So, we enjoyed a basket of fried zucchini and some hot wings which were both scrumptious and did some fun people watching. Our pizza arrived and it was WAYWORTHTHEWAIT! ooey, gooey perfectly flavored pizza with the beat sauce ever. Very filling. Not bad prices. My new favorite place.

Best Chicago style pizza in Tucson! I absolutely love this place! It’s a small building, but don’t let it’s location and size fool you because this place packs a punch. If you’re looking for great Chicago pizza this is the place to go. Even their smallest pizza’s are enough for two and than some. You will not be disappointed if you go here.

Thoroughly disheartened. I went to the restaurant last Saturday at 7 pm. It wasn’t that busy and my husband and I sat at the bar next to a nice couple and began to chat. There were dishes from the prior guests still on the bar. We sat at the bar for more than 10 minutes, when the other couple prompted the staff to remove the used dishes from in front of us. He said he would then get us a waiter/waitress. It never happened, and we walked out after 10 more minutes. Clearly, Rocco had the night off and the staff would rather chit chat than take care of their patrons. My husband and I are«repeat offenders» but we are considering the many other options in the city. Why should we be ignored? I am extremely disappointed.

My boyfriend and I came here a while ago. We searched wings on Unilocal and it took us here! So of course, I got the wings. Look no further for wings, my friends. These are hands down the best wings I have ever had in my entire life, and I have had many wings! I believe I ordered medium heat and it was just perfect in spice! I’m not sure what else they use, but these are so tasty! The place itself is relatively small, so be aware of that. Boyfriend and I just sat at the bar. We also ordered cannolis for dessert since we were celebrating. Yummy! Next time, I’ll order the wings and try their pizzas too. So so very delicious!

This place is hands down the best pizza in Tucson. Thin crust or deep dish, there is something for everyone, and you can’t go wrong. Also: wings. I have sampled all varieties and they are all excellent, just keep in mind that the hot wings mean business. I am typically very spice tolerant, and the hot flavor definitely made me sweat. The only downside, really, is that Rocco’s is closed on Sundays, so I can’t bring wings home to eat while watching football.

I’m not the biggest fan of deep dish pizza as it feels more like a casserole than a pizza, but I make an exception for Rocco’s. The location is a bit small and often busy, but it works for this place. If you haven’t tried the wings, do yourself a favor and do! They are nicely spiced and unique in taste. All it takes is a pizza slice, maybe two if you’re really hungry and I’m pretty much done for the night. I have no idea if this is authentic, but I recommend it none the less.

There are only a couple of places I will actually get pizza in Tucson. It’s deep dish, it’s tasty, and I really enjoy it. The lunch special is great, and the salad that comes with it it one of the reasons I go. They used oil cured olives, which are fantastic and it makes Rocco’s something just different enough to really make it enjoyable. I don’t go often, but each time I go, I have a great time.
