I liked coming here after work but had so many disappointing experiences to where I won’t give them my business anymore. The only good bartender is Morgan. She has personality and is just all around legit. The others, Liz, Cassie, and especially Ryan, suck! Ryan upcharges for everything and I mean everything! I’m a great tipper and easy to please. But each time he served me I was pissed off leaving. If you order from him, be sure to specify everything you want and check prices. I won’t be back

First time visit, Started off great, waitress was excellent. Wife ordered The New Mexico burger with no onions and I ordered the Mediterranean Pasta. 1) Burger came with the caramelized onions, we picked them out, but did not send it back. 2) My Mediterranean Pasta came with ZERO pesto sauce. How can it be Mediterranean without any pesto. I asked for some pesto sauce and they brought me an oil based pesto. It had no pesto flavor. They offered 10% off for messed up burger and we said thank you and that was fine! but when I told them I was military and they offer a 10% discount it became an issue. Maybe an off day, the burger was good. So we’ll give them another chance. Summary; this was not a great experience.

We really need more restaurants around University of Phoenix. This place takes forever and the service is poor with just ok food. Unless I want to eat from a vending machine or bring a lunch, I’m stuck with this place…

There is something on their diverse menu for everyone. Soups, pizza, burgers, pasta more. My favor are the filet mignon kabobs. Yummy! Their spitfire shrimp appetizer is a must. Relaxed atmosphere. Great place for lunch or a drink after work. Everyone is friendly. The chocolate lava cake is to die for.

Been a big fan of Risky’s for a couple of years now! They’ve made some changes on their menu– they’re amazing! You can find everything from bar food to a nicer seafood meal. I’m pretty sure I’ve tried nearly everything on their menu and it’s always so consistent! Some of my favorites are their whiskey buffalo wings and… their lasagna(best I’ve ever had)! Great atmosphere for games and social meetings, and great service every time– take a seat at their bar, you’ll definitely get taken care of…

They offer a 10% Military Discount everyday, but on Mondays they a 25% discount. And the Spitfire Shrimp are to die for! Happy Hour is 7 data a week 3pm-7pm and then 10pm– Close. I really enjoy this place. Every time I go I’m never disappointed. Everything on the menu is so delicious, but the Spit Fire Shrimp are amazing and super spicy.

Was super excited to spend a date night with my boyfriend at Risky Business. The steak(that they’re known for) was so tough, I couldn’t even bite into it. The only reason I give them a 2 and not a 1 star was because the manager was embarrassed and comped our meal. Very disappointed.

Risky’s is our go-to mid week, wanna get together eat and have a beer place. The food is great, beer selection is great. The staff has always been the best. Plus, if something DOES go wrong with your food, they do not hesitate to make it right in any way possible(but that has ONLY happened once in my years of going here!) Nice large open seating, but it can get a little loud during games and happy hour. Happy Hour is a great deal on both food and drinks. Keep your money in Tucson and eat local! Risky’s will serve you an overall great experience!

Came to Risky’s tonight for a monthly board meeting and my group of eight sat in the back portion of the dining room for a bit of quiet to conduct our business. We were treated to the exceptional Brandon, our server extraordinaire. He paid great attention to our varied requests and all drinks and food came back exactly as ordered. I ordered a michelada and asked that it be made with Clamato, extra spicy, extra lime juice and with Tecate.(I know, I can be pain in the ass) My huge, delicious michelada was at my table very quickly and it was perfect. And only $ 4.75. Drinks all around, plenty of appetizers and we called this board meeting a success. I ordered nachos off the happy hour menu and for $ 6 it’s a whole lotta nacho! I saw bruschetta, calamari, potstickers and several other dishes at the table and everyone was pleased with the taste, quantity of food and price. Risky’s is a great happy hour location and if you’re lucky enough to have Brandon as your server, you’ll feel very well taken care of.

Surprisingly good bar food. You get a 10% discount if you also work in the Williams Centre. I place pickup orders here regularly for lunch. Great patio area when not overrun with smokers. Staff is decent and friendly in my experience. Only reason I don’t give 5 stars is that they often forget to put things in their pick up orders. Example: 2 weeks ago I ordered their(delicious) harvest salad. Walked from my office to pick it up. Got back to my desk and saw that they forgot the dressing. Wasted a good portion of my lunchtime going back to get it. Probably would have felt better if they had been more apologetic. It’s tough because I think the bartenders prep that order and they are really(and with reason) more focused on the drinkers at the bar than pickup orders. Not the first time it’s happened — I really need to get in the habit of checking the order before walking away.

I’m terribly sad. My Risky Business has gone down the drain. My children’s food was in edible and my daughter was served a drink in a used crayon cup. I have eaten at all the Risky Businesses across town for many many years and am very disappointed by my experience today. The manager offered other food but I was just too disappointed in all the food to even give it another opportunity. We were also offered dessert but could not accept because we had to go elsewhere to actually have dinner first. I don’t think I will eat there again and that makes me sad.

Risky Business. The name is very intriguing, but out of curiosity I’d love to know the reasoning behind it… I know… Curiosity killed the cat. But considering the atmosphere and such, I’m perplexed by the name. It’s essentially a sports bar with a yummy menu and a ton of great options of beer on tap. At least that’s my take on it. I do believe they have an actual«restaurant» side to the building, but heck, I’ve never been in it. Every time I have been to this location(total of 3 times) the place has been pretty dead, to my surprise. Hey, but that just means better service for me. Ha ;) Maybe I’m just the weirdo that comes at random times. I’m very pleased by the variety of beers on tap and I’ve never been disappointed. The variety of food in the menu is nice, but if I’m being honest, every time I go I get some sort of chicken salad. It’s always been good, but I can’t really judge any of the other food items. Although when I went with my husband he got chicken wings and a burger and I did sample his wings and I was drooling. Crispy chicken with a delicious sauce put me in wing heaven. This is a nice relaxing atmosphere to grab a few beers, chow down on some good food, and watch sporting events on the TVs surrounding the bar. I imagine this place is a hit with the guys! But I wouldn’t necessarily consider this as a nice dinner out for the family. Maybe that’s just me!

I can’t wait to actually see this place after ordering take-out from them. While staying at a hotel around the corner, I ordered their veggie burger with a salad and sweet potato fries for delivery. It came within 15 minutes! Despite forgetting the salad, the delivery guy offered to bring it right back and didn’t charge me for it. I didn’t mind waiting because of the discount. The food was awesome. Everything was fresh and the veggie burger was delicious. The sweet potato fries came with a sauce, but they didn’t need any. When I’ve driven by this place, it always looks hoppin’, so I would imagine it’s fun during happy hour like the other reviews mention. Definitely a place I’ll hit up again next time I’m in Tucson.

Sept 28, 2012 On my first visit to Tucson for my cousins wedding I had no idea where to eat for dinner and this place was mentioned as a decent place to try. The food was decent, I had fish and chips. The fish was meaty however the batter seemed like it was fried in dirty oil. Let me cut to the chase as to why this place got 2 stars from me and everyone that ate with us. We were seated outside in the patio area and our waiter(some bald and somewhat feminine guy with glasses) came to greet us. He mentioned something about a competition they were having where the staff member who sold the most alcohol won something, we told him we weren’t going to be drinking much and I guess this pissed him off. The service he provided was way below standards, he was rude and had an attitude, he mixed up the drink orders twice, when asked for something(like ketchup) he never came back and when we gave him the check he never came back with change(WTF?!). It’s unfortunate this guy is working here, otherwise this could have been a positive review.

This is always a great place for lunch during the work week. Service is fast. Food comes out quickly. The prices are good and portions are large. I am a fan of all their salads as well as the calamari and angry potatoes. :D They give a military discount daily. On Monday’s for military all entrees are half off. This business is doing it right. Thanks Risky’s! I will more than likely be here on a weekly basis.

I liked this place. The prices are a bit on the high side. Our server, as someone noted, «was spread way too thin». She checked up on us but she was so fast talking and disappeared so quickly, I figured she was taking care of the whole place. Maybe they need to get her some help. I ordered a garden burger and paid an extra 50 cents for onion rings. The onion rings were absolutely perfect. Voyager RV Resort still makes the best garden burger, IMO. This one was OK. I’d probably order it again. We hit the place after lunch and it wasn’t busy but we waited quite a while for the food to arrive. The atmosphere was nice and if you’re a sports fan, you’ll love all the TVs in the bar.

Excellent service and very accommodating to our large party. Really good late night happy hour specials too. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a relaxed atmosphere to hang out to watch sports or just chat with friends! There’s tons of tvs but it isn’t too loud.

The overall three and a half star rating is about right for this place. I would have given four it if weren’t for an issue with the bill. We had a very good server named Aaron who helped me with my choices and even steered me to a great beer choice when the tap malfunctioned on my first choice. He recommended the Lagunitas Wilco Tango Foxtrot(WTF) after Green Flash was unavailable. I had never had it before and I loved it. As I do often, I will narrow down my choices to two or three(especially when the menu is large) and ask the server what they recommend. I gave him my two choices, one of which was the mahi tacos. He said, «If you get the mahi tacos, get them blackened.» Boy was he spot-on. Plentiful portion of blackened fish atop a bed of spiced slaw and radishes served with pico de gallo and sweet spicy remoulade. An unexpected find in a bar and grill. They were really, really good. Wife had the chicken carbonara pasta, which was kind of oily and she said was overpowered by bacon. Don’t judge her. She is not as big a fan of bacon as the rest of the world. Now on to the issue with the bill. There was a card-tent-thingy on the table that clearly listed certain drinks were«always» $ 4 and all other beers besides Miller and Coors lite(aka Golden Water) were $ 3.75. One of these was the drink my wife ordered. We were charged $ 5.25 for hers and $ 4.25 for my beers. Plus, we were charged $.50 more than the menu said for my meal… not cool. I didn’t notice before I gave the server my card. Note to Risky Business: Update your special cards and prices on your menus. Your food is good and I will return… but next time I will pay attention to my bill for pricing switcheroos. EDIT: I wanted to leave my original review intact, but did not want to do this in the form of an update. I just need to let whoever is reading this review know what an idiot I am. Upon returning to Risky Business, I took another look at the specials card on the table. The«daily specials» are for each day of the week and not every day of the week(i.e. $ 4 Margarita Mondays). So the only thing I changed on my original review is to update the rating to four stars and bring attention to the fact that I misread the specials card. The mistake was mine and not pricing switches by Risky Business. OK… I feel better now.

Yay! I’m a fan. The salmon with whiskey sauce is awesome! I really like that sauce on rice and mashed potatoes, too, very scrumptious. I used to be their biggest chocolate cake fan, however that item seems to be very hit or miss. 1 out of 3 times(No, I don’t get their cake every day, I get it about 4 times a year, so stop judging!), that cake is devine… tons of fudgy frostings, moist chocolately cake… other times it is drier, less frosted, seems more hasitly made. I like my chocolate cake made with care and thoughtfulness! As far as the establishment goes, it has a bar area with TVs for sports. I’ve never been in the dining area, but if you enjoy sports bar types, then you’d probably like this. I don’t like how crowded it gets after work, personally.
