RE/MAX Excalibur

I am writing this review from an agents perspective. I’ve been a realtor for 30+ years and have worked with several different companies. Red Carpet, ERA, Merrill Lynch Realty to name a few. Most recently I’ve been with another REMAX office for 22 years before they closed their doors two years ago.
I joined REMAX because they offer agents total freedom to conduct their business they way they want without office meetings and floor time requirements. REMAX is internationally known and have the absolutely best referral system on the planet. As an agent that means more direct referrals, more income in commissions, and more control of who I want to refer to. With other companies there was always somebody else distributing the referral and the broker taking a good portion of the fee to boot!
That being said I love REMAX Excalibur. The owner, Howard, is not a competing agent. In fact he doesn’t even have a license. His sole focus is bringing programs and solutions that make his agents more money! Imagine that. What a difference even between REMAX offices. As an agent within his office I have more tools and resouces available to me to help me service my clients, generate leads, and make a better living.
Any realtor not happy with the company they work for should seriously consider an interview in this REMAX ofice.

Our family is house hunting and we found a home online which led us to an associate with Remax Excalibur. I was so disappointed in how the agent (Sonia) handled us as possible buyers!
First off, we scheduled a time to see a home and she told us to meet her at a nearby Circle K, to guide us to the house, but we only arrive there to find her nowhere. We waited and waited only for her to call me to say she was at the property waiting for us! (Are you joking?)
Once given directions we arrived at the home, but she appeared to be in a huge rush and said «you might not want to see the inside it’s really gross». We didn’t like the appearance of the place but she quickly handed us her card, insisted I text her RIGHT NOW my email, while insisting she had another appointment. I caved by texting my info because she was so pushy!
As Sonia was trying to leave she said she would email me a list of other homes in a couple of hours. She never did. How unprofessional. I guess she didn’t see enough $$$$ in her future. I am never returning a call or email to her or this company so it’s time for me to find a real professional agent.
