The chicken fingers were juicy, fresh, slices of white meat with a delicious, light crust. A co-worker had recommended them and I am glad we went. They were fine with my request to substitute cole slaw for the Texas toast. My wife thought that the fries were tasty. Limited menu but great food and very popular.

Well I am always ready to try a new place in town. Canes was no exception. I was welcomed with over powering music pounding away. I saw right away that the menu could fit on a business card– Chicken fingers or chicken finger sandwich. That was okay. I figured that with just one item they were going to knock it out of the park. My chicken fingers were OK, slightly soggy from sitting on the hot plate but still ok– The catsup was unlimited but Cane’s special sauce was very limited one shallow container – oh well it tasted like mayonnaise with a little of the catsup stirred in– The chicken was tenderized but near flavorless except for the special sauce — Price was right but no need to go out of my way to return — after all we have many choices for just OK. Arbys, Lucky Wishbone, Mac Donald’s– J

I think you have to go in expecting the Cane’s experience: toast, the sauce, and chicken. Sweet tea, too, if that’s your thing. It’s not super gourmet and it’s not a build-your-own with many options; it’s a product that has been tested over time and can be consistently delivered. Rich’s recommendation: you can sub out sides in your box. Get more of what you like.

So a friend said that the branch in Phoenix was amazing… The best fried chicken he’s ever had. It was moist and seasoned to perfection… Unfortunately the Tucson location has yet to reach the perfection of it’s Phoenix counterpart. The chicken I had was dry and thin. The crinkle fries are average nothing special and not something you couldn’t find in the frozen section of your average grocery store. The«special sauce» is like a slightly spicy version of Thousand island sauce. I didn’t get to taste the lemonade but my friend said they thought it was good and maybe better than Chick-fil-A. The sweet tea seemed to be a little diluted. It wasn’t that sweet and the tea itself was diluted. Atmosphere and Décor So It’s like a Chick-fil-A or Zaxby’s. Wide open space with some booths. Though I will credit them with having a pretty good sound system in and outside. Service They were pretty attentive though the night that I went they seemed to be having some issues, a cop was interviewing the staff and that was a little awkward Summary Overall I’d give these people another shot and come back. Hopefully the chicken won’t be as dry. The menu is really small but if they can nail what their selling it’d be good. The place is good for groups because of the wide open seating and is a fast food type feel.

Really?! No BBQ sauce… and my drink in the drive thru had a hole in the cup which got lemonade in my Cadillac. Wasn’t given a napkin. Won’t be coming back.

Sooo good. Chicken strips are big and lots of meat. Love that they give u a big piece of bread. Fries are like eegees. Lemonade to die for. Hope they open more in town. Good prices too. Been there twice can’t wait to go back

I’m giving this a five star not because of the food but because of the excellent customer service. The food is okay, not the best and everything is reasonably price. However I find it odd that lemonade cost more. Anyhow by far the best customer service. Been here twice and never have they disappoint me. Extremely friendly and helpful and always giving the most genuine smile. I was greeted and helped by David today and he was extremely adorable and genuinely happy to be there. I would recommend this just because I value very good customer service.

My new favorite chicken place! Limited menu makes it easy to order, the food was out quickly and was fresh and hot. The chicken strips are mild but not greasy(unlike most chains) and the sauce adds great flavor. The crinkle cut fries were crispy. The tea was brewed perfectly. The garlic toast was spectacular! Will definitely be back for more.

I went to this place for the hype and that was likely the reason why I was disappointed. My expectations were higher than what I got. The food is good and definitely worth the price, but the food is not nearly as amazing as others would have you believe. I knew that they did chicken but the menu is so limited I didn’t realize it was almost exclusively chicken tenders. I guess I blame myself for expecting more… but even then, if I want incredibly delicious chicken tenders, I have a go-to-place that isn’t Cane’s.

I used to go to ASU so I have known about Cane’s for a VERY long time. I was happy to see they opened one out here. Am I wrong to compare the two restaurants? The Tempe location is better… The tea is better… The service is better(we waited 20 minutes for our dine-in… Never that long at Tempe and it was ALWAYS busy). The food quality is basically the same, but what I did notice is that since I last ate at Cane’s Tempe, the sauce containers appear to have been halved in size at the Tucson location. Not sure if this is at all of their restaurants or just this one. Not cool. Definitely not enough sauce in that little piece of nothing for three chicken fingers. Disappointing. Oh well. I will probably be back but my expectations have been lowered substantially.

The fried chicken is pretty good, don’t get me wrong, but the Texas toast alone is why I’m going to give it 5 stars. I also like how you can substitute in items in your box at no additional charge. I didn’t want my coleslaw and was told I HAD to substitute for something else, so I could get my money’s worth. Good motto!

I really wanted to like this place since there was so much hype about it opening. We ordered chicken fingers and thought it was OK in my opinion. It didn’t leave me with a «OMG! I totally have to come back for this right away!» Their sweet tea though is uh-maze-ing! Brewed & Sweetened just right!

I had high expectations of this restaurants being equivalent of In and Out burger. I figured how hard would it be to mess up chicken? Well prepared to be disappointed by this chicken. It’s not bad, but it’s not anything that you would go back for it. It has no seasoning or flavor. The only way that you add any taste is to drown it in their signature sauce. Their fries are the most generic fries that possibly could be used at a established business. These are the same fries that can be purchased at the grocery store. So when you only serve two things at a restaurant: chicken and fries, why wouldn’t you make the best possible chicken and frys that you can make. Even Carl’s Jr. hand batters their chicken. I just think it’s ridiculous that a company like this that only sells two things cannot do those two things and knock it out of the park. The other issue and frustration that I had is that my wife has allergies. And she’s allergic to garlic. My wife twice had to re-order her order because they put the garlic Texas toast facedown on top of the fries and chicken. We told the man at the register that this was an issue but twice it happened. I do commend them trying to rectify the situation. On one of the send backs we found a human hair wrapped around a piece of chicken. At this point the want and desire to eat at this restaurant completely disappeared. It was replaced with frustrating thoughts and being annoyed by the fact that we wanted to eat our lunch but a continue to be disrupted by the lack of attention to detail. We left the restaurant hungry and angry and just wanted a good meal. I just expect more from an establishment that has such a limited menu. With the restaurant like this all I can say that i went, but that is all.

Pretty good chicken fingers but plain. Really the only item they sell is chicken fingers. The meal comes with toast which I liked a lot and the lemonade was really good. I didn’t care for the coleslaw. The fries are plain. The atmosphere is a lot of fun and lots of happy energy from the music and disco ball lights. Great place for families.

Oh. My. Gosh. I am a fat kid, but unlike most fat kids, if given a choice between chicken fingers and cake, I’m taking the chicken every time. I came by on my way home after work a couple of weeks ago on the day they opened, and the drive thru lane wrapped around the building. But I was not to be deterred. I Facebooked my journey through the drive thru to receive my food the same way Ken Burns narrates his documentaries. Heavenly smells wafted through the parking lot into the cracked open windows of my car, increasing my anticipation. After forty five minutes of the Chicken Saga, I made it into the drive thru and placed my order. The chicken strips were even better than I had expected! They were coated with some kind of manna from heaven. The fries were hot and delicious. The bread was euphoric. I heard angels singing as I ceremoniously opened the carton of food after arriving back home and took my first bite. And the SAUCE. My tastebuds pranced like Lippizanner stallions as it touched my tongue. To quote the inimitable Kelly Clarkson, some people wait a lifetime for a moment like this. The next day, my husband and I went there for lunch. Every bit as magical.

It is really nice to have a local location of raising canes in Tucson now. If you’ve never been to the restaurant, and you love chicken tenders, you need to get in. Chicken tenders are one of my favorite fast foods, so I look for the best that I can find. They have a very simple formula here. Serve consistently hot and fresh food and keep people coming back. In my experience the chicken is always juicy and the breading is always crunchy. The fries almost always come out piping hot and they’re crinkle so that’s cool. I really like the canes sauce that comes with the tenders its got a peppery tangy creaminess. Another signature item that you get with any combo is the garlic Texas toast, which I enjoy dipping in the sauce. Also, they have the small pellet ice so if you like to chew ice there’s that going for you. So, if you’re looking for chicken tenders that will hit the spot and you’ll get them reasonably quickly, Raising Cane’s is the place for you. As of this writing, this is a very new location and the first one in Tucson. I received prompt service. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean. The staff was very courteous. I’m sure that I will be back many times.

Good value for your money, but really seems like a lot of wasted potential. Since they only sell chicken tenders, I was expecting them to have several different breadings and sauces, but the menu is really limited. As far as I know, there is only one kind of standard batter and just a house dipping sauce which is really rather bland. You do get a lot of food for your money, but without any variety on the menu I can’t see myself wanting to go back, especially since the one chicken they do have was really nothing to write home about. It wasn’t bad, but nothing interesting either. I get that they are trying to specialize, but to me I have had better fried chicken at places that do not even specialize in it, so that kind of defeats the purpose of what they do. If they would get several different breadings such as spicy, cajun, barbecue, or anything like that and perhaps an opportunity to have them tossed in sauces like buffalo or teriyaki, I think it would really make a difference and make me want to go back. As it is, it is really rather uninteresting, and I would prefer to go to a chicken place with more variety.

So I’ve had Raising Canes in Phoenix & I’m happy to see they branched out here to Tucson! Who doesn’t some fresh delicious tasting real chicken fingers, so yummy tender & full of flavor. Although being the second day open & the place being bombarded with millions of old fans & new ones wanting to experience a wonderful taste the staff remained friendly & helpful, getting out order in a jiffy & without mistakes! Can’t wait to go back I’d recommend Canes to all my friends & family.
