I had a good experience at this location. The person at the register was very friendly and had a lot of patience for my large family. She was happy repeating all the sides and helped explain things. I like that there is an option to order ½ sandwich, ½ salad and soup. I ordered the turkey BLT with a cup of the creamy tomato soup. Delicious! It would have been nice to have had the sandwich warm or have an option for it to be warm. But the soup was delicious, hot, creamy and came with some croutons.

The customer service was good here, but the food was not. I usually love Panera, but this location just did not make the cut. My soup came out really bland and cold, which is not a problem I’ve ever had at Panera before. The staff was good, I just wish the food was better.

I would not give this place any stars if Unilocal didn’t make me give them a star. We walked in at 7:40 which was 20 min before closed down. They decided to clean up and close their salad bar and their sandwich bar(which they still had plenty of) and were out of basically all their pastas so there was nothing that we could get from the menu. I come from a family who owns restaurants and you are never supposed to shut down a kitchen 20 min before closing you are supposed to serve every everyone till you close. For them to be a cooperate restaurant they are definitely not following corporate rules. This was the worst experience I’ve had at any Panera.

Poor service. Drinks came 15 minutes after food. Couldn’t pick up a knife and slice a bagel. When we asked for an un-sliced one, she said no, she wanted to make it work and kept bringing out half sliced random bagels. It was ridiculous. Then we heard the manager talking about the five second rule. Disturbing. Never again.

Never been to Panera before. Had to stand there reading the menu over the cashier. She kept asking for our order. Asked what different things were and she recited the description like a robot. Finally ordered tortellini and a hot turkey and avocado sandwich. Got a smoothie and a lemonade. Overpriced for the size. Food came out and there was pink chicken on top of the tortùellini. Did not order the chicken, but, OK. Asked them to cook tje chicken more and got s robotic answer about 165 degrees internal. Turkey was cold, not hot. I do not recommend this place. Even the pickle slice was dried up. No employee really cares that you are not satisfied.

Not worth the money for what you get. Noodle soup was all broth. We had to ask for more noodles.

A wonderful afternoon lunch, we took full advantage of Panera’s «You Pick 2». This includes the option of a combination of dishes such as ½ sandwich, small salad, small soup, etc. We chose to split the Steak and Bleu Cheese Salad which included fresh tomatoes, crisp romaine lettuce and crunchy onions to go with a perfectly seasoned, thin cut steak and crumbled bleu cheese, topped off with a sweet, tangy vinaigrette. Our second pick was the Cranberry Turkey Flatbread sandwich. While lacking in the cranberry department, the sandwich was overall filling and delicious. This particular sale provided the perfect benefit of a cheap, easy to share, light lunch. Also included with the sale was a beautiful orange scone for only $ 1. The iced coffee is perfect alone, or with a little cream and sugar. Acai blueberry tea required nothing to add, simply amazing and refreshing.

I had lunch with a friend here today, the salads here are fresh and big and very good, I ordered a roast beef sandwich that I had to send back, it was raw, I exchanged it for a turkey that was better. The chocolate chip muffin was very yummy! The cashier didn’t offer me the choice of the bread, apple or chips, which would have been nice — I just got the bread…

I have to preface this by saying that I absolutely love anything in between two slices of good bread. My husband and I stopped by for some lunch. The only reason I gave them four stars instead of five is because it took an unusually long time to get to the counter. Once we got there we were helped by a not so friendly, frazzled woman. We ordered a half tuna sandwich on honey wheat, half a garden salad, half of a ham sandwich on rye and a half broccoli cheddar soup. The sandwiches were awesome, with both breads being soft and out of this world. The soup was amazing and so was my salad. We will be back for sure!

I was not impressed with this location. When I came in only one staff member was out front and she was helping another customer. She did not greet me… I waited for a while and when she did approach me she was not too friendly and seemed flustered which only got worse when a small group of people entered behind me. I asked for 4 orders, which I explained would all be rung up on separate bills, and would need to be packed separately as they were going to different places. She said«ok» to me and rang everything up on separate bills, but when I opened the bag in the car I realized she packed everything together. I had to pull everything out and figure out how to repackage the items. I ended up taking a mostly empty box into one client and had to tell them I swear that I didn’t eat the pastries on the ride over since the box looked so sad and empty.

Always delish! Thanks again, Panera, for a quick and yummy lunch! Took my mom for her first visit today and she LOVED it, especially that they have Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi cause she can’t have too much caffeine. There are very little restaurants with such a selection. Will be back again soon!

I had a really good experience here for the most part. The highlight was the girl working the counter. She was very friendly, and she even gave me an extra cookie when she saw my face that I only was getting one(for the $ 2.50 price), which is above and beyond in my opinion. I was very impressed by that. The menu is decent, I think they have really tried to make a lot of healthy options available which is great. I was there in the late afternoon so most of the pastries and cookies were gone — That section was pretty empty other than crumbs! They must do most of their business in the am and lunch. The seating is nice with tables far apart enough that you can have some privacy.

Any place that has decent, healthy food on their menu is A-OK in my book. Working hard to drop some pounds, I’ve been really boring and not getting lunch out lately but rather eating my homemade food at my desk. BOR-ing! But today the boss said lunch is on her so I placed all the orders for the office and 20 minutes later made the quick 3 minute drive to Panera to pick everything up. My order was efficiently taken over the phone and when I arrived, my counter experience was great. I was quickly on my way back to the office with a massive bag full of goodness. Sadly, a lunch of an adult grilled cheese & fire roasted tomato soup(my FAV) was not to be had today so I ordered the formally hidden menu item but now a Power menu item: a Mediterranean Roasted Turkey Salad. A rather large salad with tomato, red onion, pitted kalamata alives, pepperoncinis and moist turkey, served with a half a lemon and a 0.4 fl oz pouch of EVOO as dressing. I tossed the olive oil aside, squeezed the lemon over the entire salad and thoroughly enjoyed my 180 calorie lunch. Seriously — 180 calories. Would I love a salad with tons of feta and perhaps some couscous in it? Of course! But I love this healthy option of a Mediterranean salad.

I’ve been a fan of Panera for years. I’m glad it has gotten so big that it’s in nearly every large-ish city. When you want a soup in a bread bowl(and not just clam chowder, but a range of soups), nothing beats them. They’ve got a generous condiments bar with real butter. All of their baked goods are tasty. The non-soup items are a bit of a toss up. Usually good salads, mediocre sandwiches, very good mac n cheese(from what I’ve been told). But I like to stick with what I know – and that’s sometimes frustrating. I rarely ever get the same thing when I order the same meal here. Sometimes the side is an apple, sometimes chips, oftentimes nothing, other times various breads. Once I got a cookie. Last time my mom got a plain slice of white bread. Very strange. This randomness has exposed me to some items I wouldn’t have ordered otherwise(recently it was a delicious brioche roll), but I always feel like they just threw on there whatever old thing was leftover. Not the biggest complaint, but it confuses me. Another couple of nitpicky problems are the baby sized glasses they give out for water(that’s a franchise-wide problem) and the fact that this location has been a Panera bread for months now and every time I ask if I can use my goofy little rewards card that has a free iced drink on it, they say they haven’t got that system yet because they just became a Panera bread. What else changed in the big switch? I suppose if they don’t have that system by now I shouldn’t hold my breath. Few problems aside, very glad it’s here.

I came to Panera with 4 of my co-workers for a nice off-campus lunch. One co-worker got a half-salad/half-sandwich combo. She ordered the grown-up grilled cheese which with bacon, supposedly. When she opened the sandwich to check that there was bacon there was about a half teaspoon of crumbled bacon sitting in on one end of the sandwich. We brought this up to the manager who responded — «The sandwich should come with a half tablespoon of bacon, if you want more bacon just ask next time.» But there wasn’t a half tablespoon of bacon so… The salad, which came with avocado also, apparently, came with the avocado peel. Yay fiber! Manager’s response: «Oh.» There was a giant cookie though. For free. Delish. Another co-worker got a half-salad with soup & a roll. Her roll had a hair on it. Manager’s response: «My eyes are bad so I can’t see it, but I trust you». Then she walked away. Again, giant cookie! Co-worker #3 also ordered the half-salad/soup with French onion soup. She got tomato soup. Co-worker #3 called one of the employees over to inform him that the soup was wrong, he says, «No, the receipt says you ordered tomato soup. … But let me take it back for you.» Giant cookie! My turkey & avocado BLT required re-assembly in order for me to actually pick it up and eat it without everything falling out. Once assembled it was okay. Giant cookie! If you’re going to make sandwiches for a living, make them well. If you’re going to manage people who make sandwiches, care about the customers who eat them(the sandwiches). I didn’t get that vibe at Panera. The baked goods, though, amazing(see: giant cookie). Perhaps Panera should just stick to being a bakery, not a bistro.

I really like that you order up front, eat and go. No waiting. They have good coffee every time I’ve been in, not outstanding but better than most. Customer service is excellent and I’ve never been dissatisfied with anything I’ve ordered. I really love their bagels with cream cheese and of course they have good cookies. Happy to see new locations popping up here in town, as Paradise(Panera) has always been a favorite spot when I’m up in Phoenix. I’m definitely a fan.

We ordered lunch to go recently and just found it not very satisfying. I had the smokehouse turkey panini and while there was a generous amount of turkey the overall taste was just blah. I agree that it was served and tasted like something from a gas station. While I was helped promptly I watched as other customers were struggling to place their orders with the impatient cashier. With so many other great and local sandwich shops in Tucson I won’t be returning to Panera especially not after having to pay $ 26 for two sandwiches, a cup of soup and a smoothie yowza!

They’ve recently be rebranded as Panera Bread. Met a friend here for lunch, her choice. And honestly, I don’t often write reviews on chains. But I had to for the simple fact that I experience such a decidedly contrasting lunch at PB. Ordered a chicken cuban panini. It came out pretty fast. The bread was unlike anything I’d seen on cuban. Oddly shaped and weird texture. And it was served on a piece of white cardboard like you’d see in a microwaveable sandwich from the gas station. Meh. And it tasted about as good as one of those sandwiches as well. Strange sweet tomato sauce, strange mystery mayo, super processed cold cut ham. Meh. But here’s the contrast. The staff here… from the person that took my order, to the person that brought it was pure customer service. Kind, courteous, willing to help. Love to see that… regardless of the meal. Doubt I’ll be back because of the food… But I appreciated the service. :)

I live in Las Vegas and we do not have Paradise Bakery and Café, we have Panera. I had an odd feeling of déjà vu when I was placing my order at Paradise, but when I got to my table, everything made sense. Panera owns Paradise! And this location will soon become a Panera as well. But fret not, the menu will remain the same. My mother and I had lunch here on a Monday. We each did the pick two combo with half sandwiches and a salad. There was a bit of a delay between getting our food, and my mother receiving her iced mocha but otherwise everything was perfect. I had asked for cheese to be added to my sandwich, it was. I also asked for my salad dressing to be different than what the menu specifies, and served on the side. It was. We received exceptionally friendly service from the food runners and the sweet girl working the bakery area. If you eat in, they have buy one cookie get one free promotion. We also got a brownie and scone to take with us. The scone was excellent, not too dry like many scones seem to be. I love that there are no preservatives used. Paradise… Panera… whatever your name ends up being when I return to Tucson, it doesn’t matter… I will definitely be back for more of your yummy sandwiches and baked goods!
