I had an extremely unpleasant experience here tonight. It’s the closest Panda Express to my house, and since my husband had a meeting tonight, I was on my own for dinner. I wanted to get home quickly so I ordered food to go before leaving the house, so I could pick it up and run home. The restaurant was full of people, not unusual around dinnertime. I didn’t see the«online pickup» sign until I was at the front of the labyrinthine line, and let the girl know I ordered for pickup. Another lady came over and said someone would go check. I must have stood in the pickup line for ten minutes, but got to watch as an employee took a metal pan that was still wet and dumped the remaining water in it out on the tile floor. Hello, lawsuit! Tile and water = no bueno, especially when you slip and throw out your back. Eventually, she says there’s no order for me. Uh, okay. I placed it online I got a confirmation that said it would be ready at 6:17. But I can go to the end of the line and order with everyone else… no thanks! I got in my car and drive to the drive through at El Con. Even though the Grant and Swan Panda Express is five minutes from my house, I would much rather drive over to El Con and not be treated like crap.

Nice people! But they always seem to be out of food. And you end up waiting 30 mins for an online order

Twice I’ve had to leave this panda with no food in hand or belly. They are always out of food and there is consistently a «5 minute» wait for anything I’d like. Will continue to eat Panda Express, just at other locations.

I want my money back! Worst so called Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life! The chow mein was dry and tasteless. The Orange chicken was all breading and no chicken and WAYOVER cooked. And the chicken egg roll was burnt on the outside and mushy and tasteless inside. Hope this review saves someone $ 10 bucks and a wicked stomachache.

Been to a handful of Panda Express restaurants. Visiting Tucson from out of town, we went to this one around 6pm, expecting a bit of a dinner rush.(Should have checked Unilocal first!) PROS: –The place was practically empty at dinnertime. There were maybe 2 people in front of us. CONS: –They were out of a bunch of entrees.(The noodles were the only thing that looked fresh.) –We asked for teriyaki sauce on the side and changed our mind when we saw the girl give it a stir and it was a thick, congealed clump. –We waited about 10 minutes for numerous entrees to finish cooking. The girl behind us got a free drink because she had to wait. Our party of 5 got nothin’! –Cream cheese rangoons were chewy, not crisp. Overall… I think I’d skip this next time and try some place else.

I’m trying to eat more local and more healthy, so Panda isn’t really my top choice. However, my friend needs to eat lower sodium dishes, and he surprised me by saying Panda has options for him, so there we went. I ordered up a 2-entrée item and to be good, asked for steamed white rice(they have it in a kettle there, kind of hidden). The rice was good– I’m always pleased how pleasant it is. For my sides, I took a teriyaki chicken and an orange chicken. They were shocked I didn’t want sauce on my teriyaki chicken, but I was holding off to be a good boy. Both were delicious, utterly delicious. I ate like a voracious animal. My friend took a side of veggies and orange chicken with his white rice. He loved the veggies but dumped the cabbage as a non-cabbage eater. We took two large drinks to go and the total was about $ 18 and change. Not bad for a filling, delicious meal. I took chopsticks with me that I of course did not use, but will save for a rainy day. Good food– busy place.

I am usually a fan of this place although sometimes it is just OK. Tried the Thai Cashew Chicken for the first and last time. No thai flavor, no cashew flavor and more to the point no distinguishing flavor at all. The Orange Chicken is always cooked perfect and has a really good flavor. The Shanghai Angus Steak was salty and overcooked tonight. Panda Express does a lot of business so the big thing to watch out for is when the steam tables are mostly empty — this is not a good sign. Most visits have been positive and the cooks as usual make a big difference.

longtime fan and frequently satisfied customer. Fresh ingredients, great service with one exception… sometimes it seems they take a long time to ring up our order, which if we order to eat-in ends up being cold by the time we’re seated… best option is to order it for takeout in the to-go containers regardless of where you plan to eat. Wish they served Coca Cola instead of Pepsi.

Blech, i think I have been cured from awful once a month Panda habit. Chicken was dark, noodles were undercooked, green beans were soggy, and sauce was very thick and very congealed. Maybe this location just has temperature issues? I don’t know. Other locations have fresher food, more veggies and lighter meat but then you may get the wrong entrée.
