Mooberry & Mooberry Dentistry

I visited Mooberry & Mooberry today to have a crown put on after having a root canal a couple of weeks ago. Everything about the experience has been top-​notch, from the friendly and helpful nature of the office staff to the caring and extremely competent dental care itself. Melissa, the dental assistant, was very friendly, and both she and Dr. Nicholas Mooberry really took every measure to ensure a comfortable and pleasant (well, as pleasant as dental work can be) experience.
One thing that I really appreciated was that both the dentist and the dental assistant explained each step of the process, so I was never left wondering what was going to happen next. It really made a huge difference in helping me to feel comfortable and at ease.

There’s nothing better than trusting your dentist, and Mooberry & Mooberry, a father-​son team have been my dentists since I was a child (well, it wasn’t Mooberry & Mooberry until his son joined the practice in 2006). And I’ve had the same dental hygienist for years and years. Diana makes sure that I’m there twice a year for my cleaning. They make sure to call and remind me when I’m due and of course never fail to make the confirmation call a few days before my appointment. Everyone on staff is super friendly over the phone and in person. For most people, going to the dentist is an unpleasant experience and some even fear the dentist. I’ve never had that problem. Perhaps, it’s because I’ve never had a bad experience. I loved coming up to Tucson as a child to get my teeth cleaned. I looked forward to the games they had to keep us distracted and of course the basket full of toys to choose from after your cleaning. And now as an adult, I still don’t mind it. Since I’ve never had to shop around for a dentist, I can imagine that the process can be daunting, so, in a nutshell, here are the reasons why I’d recommend Mooberry & Mooberry if you’re in need of a new dentist:
— Service: Professional and friendly and they are always on time.
— They accept dental insurance and so far I have not had any problems with how they bill my insurance. It’s been super straight forward and easy.
— Got questions or concerns? They’ve got answers! And are happy to help. For example, I suffer from TMJ soreness periodically, to the point that I can’t even open my mouth all the way, and they took the time to discuss ways of managing my TMJ issue, educating me on TMJ prevention and encouraged me to get a mouth guard made for long term care. Clearly, the same goes for general dental care. Although Diana is my preferred hygienist, I have seen others, and all have been super thorough.
— Father-​Son Team: Dr. Philip and Dr. Nick are awesome. Although Dr. Philip was my dentist growing up, I don’t have a special preference between the two, because they’re both personable, knowledgeable and up to date.
— The office is spotless.
— In addition to general dentistry (cleanings, cavity fillings, crowns, etc), they also do implant dentistry and teeth whitening .
Every six months I’m happy to see Diana, Dr. Nick or Philip and the rest of the team at Mooberry & Mooberry. They make you feel right at home!

I went to go see Dr Phil (the dad) and the entire experience was fantastic. I have neglected my oral care for 9 years and the staff didn’t judge me or berate me. Every person from the scheduler to the xray tech to the hygienist to the dentist himself was nice and accommodating. I have since scheduled future appointments as these folks are the to see about your teeth!
