This Luke’s is the worst Luke’s EVER! The food tastes & looks HORRIBLE & it is so over priced, it’s ridiculous. This Luke’s went to sh*t as soon as it changed original ownership. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT EATING HERE, EVER. This place gets a big fat ZERO.

We came because we had a Groupon. My boyfriend has a chicken sandwich that he enjoyed. I tried some of the meat, it was good. The onions and peppers it was cooked with added some good flavor. I had the beef sandwich with cheese and mushrooms and was not impressed. There was so much liquid in it that the bread got soggy quickly. The meat had little flavor or seasoning. We split some chili cheese fries and they were pretty good. We would give it another try with another Groupon to see what else they have.

Great Pastrami sandwich on a roll. The meat was a large portion and prepared perfectly. I ate every bit of it right there.
My husband ordered the meatball sandwich loved it and took half home. It was enough for 2 people. Also ordered fries yum.
The only thing I would like to see is a relish bar and serve sandwiches on paper plates.
I don’t care for eating on the sandwich wrap. The food was great, would have liked to choose condiments.
This was a groupon deal.

I have eaten at Luke’s for years. It’s been decent but always over priced, in my opinion. It was convenient and on the way home. But now I have to say sandwichs there are not what they used to. Last week I tookout a small sausage sandwich with hot peppers and a bag of fries: well over $ 10. When I got home and looked at the sandwich I couldn’t believe it. Pitifiul. Looked like a dried up frank with a few peppers on it. Just terrible. Bread was ok. Overall sandwich experience was not worth the money.
Don’t think I go there for awhile.

For the past 8 years every time I travel to Tucson, I visit this Luke’s. I love it. The owner has been there every time I have been. No wonder this place this so consistently yummy. I have had most of the sandwiches here, and they are all exceptional. I especially love the pastrami, shaved thin and crisped up on the flat top on a baguette style bread with some sauerkraut and mustard, perfection! My boyfriend says their burgers are also delicious, but really, I don’t go to a deli to get a burger, because the sandwiches are where it’s at! I really wish this place was closer…

First time at Luke’s, and I was pleasantly surprised. Had the cheese steak and fries, delicious! Very friendly people there. Seems to be a hometown favorite! I will be going there again.

The Chicago dog was about 7⁄10. My fiancé ordered a tuna sandwich that he rated 6⁄10. The reason this restaurant didn’t get a higher score was because the food was not amazing and the hostess (who I assume is the owner) was disciplining the chef (who sounded like he was still training). To quote «don’t make me tell you again» when she was referring to the lack of vegetables in the kitchen. It appears that there needs to be some management issues worked out. Would return, but wouldn’t be my first choice.

One of the people working at this Luke’s claimed that they were all beef hot dogs – not even close! My friend and I saw them microwaving the hot dogs and they weren’t even that warm when they were finally served.
The claim that this is authentic Chicago food is laughable. For one thing, authentic Chicago dog places use Vienna beef, not this cheap filler that makes your taste buds and stomach squirm. There’s a reason this Luke’s needs Groupons to keep their business going: The food is horribly overpriced and low quality!

I’ve been going to Luke’s for years and this location is definitely hit and miss. We went there today and if I had not been there before — I would NEVER go back. The fries were cold and so overcooked they were brown. (How do you even yield something overcooked AND cold when someone is waiting for their food?) The hot dogs were literally gray and also cold and the buns were smashed. Unbelievable! Sad, sad, sad — if you don’t want to be there — just go home.

Italian beef is my favorite and personally I ask for the fries to be cooked ‘extra crispy’ which just makes them even more amazing. If you get the chance, try this place out! It’s well worth it!
There bulk deals are pretty darn amazing in my opinion also!

Brought back memories of 35 yrs ago living in Chicago and enjoying the Italian Beef sandwich! This Italian Beef on French was fantastic. My wife and I split the sandwich because it was plump with beef. Loved the onion rings too! Should have taken a photo!
If your looking for a great roast beef sandwich, get the Italian Beef here at Luke’s! It’s nice and juicy too!

The chicago dog wasn’t authentic at all. I don’t think they used Vienna anything.
We also got a Italian beef, it was full of fat and just so-​so.
Won’t be back to this location.
