Greasy food. Decently good. Chicken was a little dry, steak fingers were great, Shrimp were good and fries were nothing special just fries… oh and the bread, well we were so stuffed we didn’t really get a chance to try it. Average Fried food is how I would rate this place. When my husband called in the order in advance the guy had no customer service and was treating him as if it was a bother to answer the phone to take an order. We get if you guys were busy in the moment, but we are brand new customers and this was our first time ever eating at Lucky Wishbone. That left a sour taste in our mouth before we even got to try the food. So as my husband said, «Not excellent, and I don’t particularly look forward to going back. It was slightly better than average.»

Consistently great food!!! As a creature of habit, I always order a «mom» size steak fingers(7 per order) with fries, garlic toast(+ an extra one because it’s so, so good) and a cherry coke. No matter which LW location you frequent, you’ll find friendly, efficient long time staff waiting to help you and prepare your food. LW is always on my list of places to eat when I’m in Tucson. Hmmm… road trip!!!

I have been in Tucson my whole life and have never tried it. I had been meaning to and finally found the opportunity and swung in. I had the shrimp basket and my fiancé had the chicken strips. While the food is definitely not as fast as fast food it’s made to order and delicious!!! The cocktail sauce is just the right amount of spicy and tangy! The staff was really friendly! It was a little more expensive than I expected but the quality was worth it. The single downfall is there is no place to sit. Best for takeout unless you want to sit and eat with all the people waiting for their orders and watching. Also only 3 tables to fit 2 people each. Still I will definitely go back and just order to go!

Small pieces of chicken, pretty dried out. I think that Church’s(there aren’t enough of them), and maybe Popeye’s too(tho I haven’t been there lately) is the only fast food joint that I know of that makes proper junk food fried chicken, which is my comfort food. The overabundant(why?) KFC’s are the worst(and they use more MSG in their junk food than any other junk food place).

As always great food and great service. Black cherry drink makes the meal. Better than most fast food places. Great service very fast.

This is our first time eating here. We won a gift certificate at a raffle so we decided to try it. The Oracle location is very, very clean. tracy was very helpful with our selection. She also threw in a sample of the shrimp and steak fingers. All the food was very good, the customer service was outstanding not just with us but with all the customers we watched and definitely the cleanest place we have been to in a long time. We will return.

Been coming to Lucky Wishbone, for over 3 decades now. I just adore the chicken as always.

We attempted to go and grab some dinner tonight and we couldn’t even sit as a family of 4 and a one year old because there is not much seating but mostly because there are no high chairs, none. They advertise food for a family yet don’t provide seating for children? Makes zero sense! So I would rate the food, but couldn’t because I wasn’t able to even sit down to eat.

A Tucson Original. Do not miss an opportunity to eat here if you’re in Tucson whether you’re a local or just visiting this place is a must!.. I’m not a big fan of the steak fingers but the chicken fingers and the shrimp are to die for!

Lucky Wishbone is a Tucson landmark. Like Pat’s, Eegees, and Mama’s Pizza, Lucky Wishbone is a place you have to experience at least once. Chicken Fingers, Garlic Toast, and their shrimp sauce. There is nothing else quite like it. The only thing that’s changed since I was born is their prices. I’ve got nothing else here. It is outstanding. Go try it.

Lucky Wishbone is a Tucson Classic! In case you are new: Fried food, nothing light served here. I am a huge fan of the horse-radish red dipping sauce, tangy and spicy in contrast to the crunchy fried meats. If you live in Tucson, you have to go at least once. Go to the gym tomorrow!

This is a Tucson staple. It’s simple, yet pretty tasty. I will say that this place is the cleanest Lucky Wishbone I have ever been to. Even better, the kids in the back were scrubbing if they didn’t have anything else to do. There are a few seats here and there, but because it is a little place, order carry out. The food is good, and hits the spot on a hot day. The steak fingers are good and really tender, and the onion rings are better. Their coleslaw is also pretty good. If you’re hungry for good food at a reasonable price(where else can you feed four people for $ 26), drop in. You won’t be disappointed.
