Lash Muse

I love my Lash Muse extensions! I receive compliments on them daily from people thinking they’re my real lashes. As a college student they are a great investment because eye makeup used to take up time I don’t have when I am constantly between class, work, the gym, and going out. Wakena is gentle, takes her time, and is very reasonably priced. Her place is clean and in a great location. On top of everything Wakena is so sweet and easy to talk to. I highly recommend Lash Muse!

Though I know you (person reading this review) can’t attest to who I’m as a person or whether my personal judgement is legitimate, just know that I literally never write reviews, so when I do, it means I had a really, really, really incredible experience.
Wakena Deboskie at Lash Muse is one of the most calming, thoughtful, and warmhearted people I’ve ever met. She genuinely cares about her customers and whether or not they’re satisfied. She tailors her work to your particular needs and listens closely to what those needs are so that you leave feeling like the most beautiful girl/​guy in the world. She even hooked me up with her finest lashes despite my groupon being for the standard ones (on that note, make sure you call and speak with her before buying any groupons, as she will likely honor the groupon price, and paying her through the groupon is a bit of a disservice to her, and she seriously deserves every penny she gets!). And on another note, her product, beyond what she produces but the actual lashes themselves, are magnificent. She has a variety of lashes, from the more standard, thick lashes, to lashes so fine they look as though they’re real when placed in your hand. I don’t know anyone in town who carries these fine lashes, but believe me when I say there is a noticeable difference between the look of more standard extensions and that of these fine silk ones she used on me.
Situated above Sinbad’s Restaurant, her studio is absolutely delightful. It almost feels as though you are in a cozy little treehouse, as it sits above the rest of the square, amid the pretty green trees. She plays soft music (always asking what you prefer), lights candles, wraps you in a soft blanket, offers you water… the list could go on and on. But her thoughtful gestures all go back to one thing and that’s the comfort of her client.
If there’s two things Wakena has absolutely nailed, it’s the quality of both her product and the experience. You not only leave with the most beautiful, custom lashes, but having had a wonderful, peaceful experience. I’ll likely be moving at the end of the school year, and I don’t know if I’ll ever find somebody even half as incredible as Wakena. Please go here, you won’t regret it!
