This is a fantastic, well-used, friendly community park. While not an official dog park, it functions as one for the dog friendly neighborhood. Neighbors with friendly dogs join up at the park and walk their dingos both on leash and off while others exercise and just meet and talk. There’s even a guy who takes his camping stove and lawn chair there to make and enjoy his morning coffee. During the evening there can be as many as half a dozen happy dingos romping in the center of the park. Since it’s such a well used park it always feels safe. Honestly, I was amazed to find out the places like this still exist.

A nice little neighborhood park. I was biking to the store and saw all the people in the park. Took some time to stop and sit in the shade and enjoy the beautiful afternoon. Youngsters were playing basketball, swinging and tossing Frisbees. There were a few families picnicing. while others walked dogs. It’s a small park but all this was going on without anyone stepping on each other toes or getting smacked in the face with a basketball or Frisbee.
