She has amazing olfactory senses and uses that gift to create artful works of fragrance. I am a niche perfume collector and trader. Many scents are smoky, with resin notes, and invoke incense or nature. They are reminiscent of scents like Comme des Garcons Avignon, Montale, Kilian.
Her #2 EBP is a beautiful blend of ancient sweet dark amber, burning incense and a touch of boozy labdanum. It totally transports me to my wedding day when I wore Luctor et Emergo’s cult perfume People of the Labyrinth known as POTL. However, La Curie is $ 38 and does not have the $ 180 price tag. All I know is I can’t stop sniffing myself and getting way too excited over how delicious I am.
The eau de parfums are in a base of grain alcohol. The roll-​on oils are in a base of fractionated coconut oil. I would love to go to her studio and watch her create. I can’t wait to see what she curates next, and I hope it might include customs. This is a great gift or a way to treat yo self.
