Hubby had a necklace I needed repaired and an idea how to do it. Went in and talked and got great advice on how to fix it. Purchased the materials and tool that he needed and now my necklace is fixed. He’s also gone in there to purchase beads of different sizes and types including hard to find ones. The customer service is fantastic and they know tons! I think they offer classes and other stuff, but they help Hubby so fast we’re never in there long enough to find out all that.

I really enjoyed heading over to this little shop. They had some unique selections of shaped non magnetic hematite that works really well in the pieces i like to make. They had some other plastic beads that where very metal like. The case is filled with some very beautiful pieces as well. They were out of the seed beads i was looking for so tragically i think that can be a bummer if it happens to you.

I visited this quirky little shop last weekend, and I’ll definitely return. It’s not overwhelming like a lot of bead stores, but they had everything I was looking for and I found inspiration in their strands and strands of hematite. The prices were probably the best part, definitely the cheapest I’ve seen in Tucson. Not my cup of tea, but for those of you looking for Southwest crap, look no further. The only vaguely disappointing thing was they happened to be out of crimping tools the day I went, but a lady working there promised they’d be in soon.

The supply of seed Beads far exceeds others, especially for Delica seed beads. Their 30% off sale for all Holidays is killer! We try to go there during the sales! They carry several silver-work items but every item is not always in stock, so it’s best to call before going to see if the item you want is currently in stock.(I.e. Liver of Sulphur)

This place is small compared to other bead stores(tucked away on the west end of the shopping plaza where Sunflower Market is) but they carry a lot of southwestern American themed beads, conchos/findings, loose stones, bone beads, and pre-made silver jewelry. They also carry a huge selection of Japanese Seed beads for those who don’t want to work with animal bone or shell. There is also some unusual gifts for sale like Western style shirts, ornaments, etc. While browsing I found a few rare specialty items for DIY Native American projects such as loose coral, animal skulls, buffalo teeth, and kits to assemble dream catchers. If you have your own little business they sell display shelves, boxes, bags, and storage containers in bulk or single sale. While I was there they had a number of 30% –50% sales on stuff. Worth checking out!
