Came here for President’s Day Weekend this year! It was my hubby’s first time on horseback and Bobbi and her team were fantastic! We took a 2 hour in the Saguaro Desert on a beautiful Sunday afternoon on Valentine’s Day and it was wonderful! I am so glad that we were able to ride with 2 guides and 2 other couples on that day instead of the annoying family with 3 kids ahead of us. They definitely understood that. Our horses were the sweetest. We especially enjoyed taking panoramic pics in the desert during our ride even though we were constantly told to «hold our reins» LOL It was well worth the cost on Valentines Day with my husband and noone spoiled it! Highly recommend this when in Tucson!

Came here yesterday and did the beginners course and I am glad I did! My horse sort of freaked out in the beginning, but that was partly my fault, I was scared and anxious (and I’ve heard horses feel your energy or whatever). I was freaking out and was about to get off and not do the thing at all and Bobby (one of the workers there) encouraged me to stay on and do it. I am so glad I did because I was more relaxed as the ride continued (the trail is beautiful and very relaxing). I conquered my fear, so happy. I will definitely be going back and I recommend this to anyone!!! :)

This is our second ride on our AZ trip. It was a fantastic 2hr ride.
Bobbi (the owner) was our guide, and we had a great time. Very interesting country side.
We took a private ride, which was just my wife and I. Since this was not a larger group ride, we were able to trot the horses, which was a good leg workout for us, not to mention exciting.
Both our horses were excellent, and well behaved with plenty of energy.
We will certainly come back the next time we are in Tucson.
Caution, your GPS might say you have arrived when you are 1 block away from Speedway (something with google)

We had a group of 4 of all calibers or riders. The property has an amazing eclectic design elements and is well kept. The staff was amazing with the great knowledge of the local flora and Fauna. The horses we very well kept and even better well trained. The trail was diverse and the guide was just a pure delight. I would highly recommend this company and lastly the price was right great value…

Nice horses and a good trail through the saguaro park, however the tour is only a very slow paced walk. Despite having folks on our tour that had riding experience, we only maintained a slow walk throughout the 2hours of the ride. If you’re looking to actually ride a horse (and not just sit), then I wouldn’t recommend this spot. If you’re wanting a very easy ride and some good views then this would be a good place to visit.

What a great trail and fun environment! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and wanted to make sure we fully enjoyed our ride. Horses were very well trained and seemed to be in great health/​taken care of!
Beautiful views of the Saguaro National park– absolutely no complaints!

Me and my sister did an evening trail ride. It was fantastic. A great way to see the Sonoran desert. The horses we rode were perfectly behaved. We enjoyed it so much I can’t wait to go back! The staff are so friendly and are just great! Thank you

My husband and I had trail ride with Bob Houston and friends. It is a super easy ride and all the horses were well mannered. The horses were all former rodeo horses and the Houstons take amazing care of them — beautiful animals, well groomed etc. If you are a fan of old big machine type equipment (40s-​50s) you’ll appreciate the ranch even more. The guides were great and informative. I like the trails off of Tanque Verde Dude ranch better but you can only ride there as a guest — so this is an awesome option if you don’t want to stay there. It’s also adjacent to Desert Trails bed & breakfast — so we just walked over :)

Great place for a trail ride. Bobbi and her crew were great. Beautiful view of surrounding mountains while riding through the Saguaro National forest. Ranch was easy to find.
