I went into the Marana Guitar Center store looking and feeling completely out of place at first, but wanting to buy a guitar. The entire staff went above and beyond to help and made me feel right at home. They answered all of my questions and had excellent service! Fantastic experience and they’ve earned an extremely loyal customer!

So my experience as follows: i ordered a electric guitar bundle online to play Rock-smith on 10/29/2015 to have it delivered to the store, after receiving an email that your item is on the way(but at the store website it stated that it was available at the store) and that i would be notified(was not specified how! i left my phone number and of course email) never got a call or email to tell me it arrived… so after what i thought was enough time(11÷04÷15) i called and they said it was ready for pickup :/i just wonder for how long did they have it!!! but o well i went to pickup, the staff Super friendly!!! No complaints there! of course i also did not get the guitar i wanted i ordered an ebony opaque guitar, i ordered that one since i did not want to worry about fingerprints and that stuff, instead i got a black shinny one the girl was cool about it, saying that they could customize my bundle and get the guitar i wanted but I’m into the kind of thinking that if God sent me a black shinny one, Black Shinny it is! so because of reviews online it was recommended that i have my guitar setup(which i thought was smart since i don’t know anything about guitars much less tuning) which they let me know since i got my guitar there i would get 50% off having it setup(super happy) so even though i was dying to play Rock-smith i decided to be patience and they advised that because it was a setup might be ready to pick up same day up to 2 days and that it really depended on the work load and i imagined first come first served basis so i was OK I hoped no more than 2 days crossed my fingers…2 days passed and i called and they passed me to what i could only guess the technician guy and he said that he would try to get to it in 2 days at the latest depending on the work that had to be done and of course i let him know that it was a setup, he gave me some hope that might be earlier and i was cool! that would be great!(i believe i have been i cool customer smiles and nice tone)…today 11/11/2015 i called to check on status they put me on hold and i could only imagine the conversation while i waited imagine this: phone guy: Hey dude they are asking for the status of a Black shinny guitar? Tech guy: mmmm let me see… here it is! what am i supposed to do to this it look fine!, Phone guy: she mentioned Set up that’s all!, Tech guy: That’s all! i could have done this years ago! mmmm just tell her we will try to have it today at the latest tomorrow ill trow in some really nice strings to avoid finger blister on beginners that would make her happy! [phone guy walked to the phone]…Back to reality… he came and said that they would try to have it done today latest tomorrow… So it seems i will be playing at last my game tomorrow: S o well maybe if it would have been done earlier i would have gotten into a car accident or something i could only think it was meant to be. Maybe i could have given 2 stars but they were really nice so i added the extra star so if you get a guitar online this could happen to you!

Listen up, go to this new Guitar Center, management is great, willing to go out of their way to please the customer, now… there’s a concept… Came back here to bring back some monster cables, second time, the first time was at the other location. Manager was great, turned those in, got credit, bought some Mogamis instead, she helped with a discount, happy customer… Thank you Guitar Center on River Rd.
