Mango margarita was delicious. Should have had another one because it would have probably helped the carne asada Angelina taste better. Meat was extremely tough.

The Bella Fresco, Steak Fajita, and Carne Asado were delicious. Service was slow even we visited the restaurant at 4:00 pm and it was not busy.

Half decent Mexican food with outrageously terrible service. Arrived on a Sunday with seven people and squeezed into a booth way too small. Then our waiter was so bad we should have left. 20 minutes just for waters, and then over an hour for our food. We requested things and he could only seem to remember part of the request(i.e. More napkins and more chips resulted in only napkins). He rarely checked in on us and when the order arrived(over an hour later), it wasn’t correct and clearly had been sitting out too long as was cold and sauce had congealed consistency. The only highlight is the table side salsa was we really enjoyed. But otherwise I was very disappointed.

Went hoping to get some decent Mexican food. No such luck. The fresh salsa made at the table seemed okay, and then the waiter came and seemed consistently confused about things. We waited at the bar for a few minutes and got drinks, then took then them to the table. He then wanted to know, where are those drinks from? did you already pay for those? He seemed to constantly tell us restaurant policy on things. He couldn’t sing happy birthday, against policy. Etc. He was a very bad waiter all around. We ordered an appitizer, which took a very long time, and then he never took our orders. We hunted him down and he took our orders, not really being able to answer questions about the food preparation we had. The appetizer was okay, hard to mess up quesadilla. When our food arrived it was not too hot. We shared a plate of enchiladas, and the waiter never brought us an extra plate. He forgot two peoples tortillas for over 20 minutes, so by the time they tried their food it was cold. Enchiladas were horrible, in a weird white sauce that tasted like cream of mushroom soup. Other diners at the table indicated things were okay, nothing tasted too good as it was cold. Tortillas arrived by time everyone was done. The waiter seemed very stressed when we wanted stuff, and we risked his disappearance for long times when we asked for things. Drinks like tea, water and soda were never refilled, and we ended up getting silverware off another table when we waited quite awhile for some. I understand when some places are busy service is slow, but this was a Monday night, and not busy. So will not return, service was bad, and the food not very good.

This was my first visit to this new location, & I was anxious to see if it lived up to the standard of the other Guadalajara Grill locations. I was happy to find that the table side salsa was just as wonderful as I hoped it would be. I had the paella, my friends had seafood and a shredded beef burrito. Everything was delicious. I really don’t get where these 1 star reviews come from. My suggestion is to ignore them. :) When I have family coming in from out of town one of the places they always go is Guadalajara Grill.

I went for lunch on a Saturday. Not busy, but the food was poor. First the chips were were stale and greasy and I asked if they could me a fresher bowl. The waitress replied that they did not have any other chips.(btw, if you don’t know this restaurant, salsa is not free, you are expected to tip the salsa girl, who prepares it at your table). I ordered a shrimp quesadilla and it was very greasy. Too bad, I have liked the Prince location fine.

Definitely sub-par compared to the other locations, too bad. Gave them a second chance… It was a mistake. Go to the prince location. Ate there for lunch, tonight I am sick in the bathroom. Will return never again.

I love this place! Fun atmosphere, fresh made before you salsa, and great tasting food. The wait on weekends are always quite long but in my opinion if you’re with friends and family it’s part of the experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the new Guadalajara Grill on Broadway. I’ve been a big fan of this Tucson landmark for years, and I was pretty crushed when both the ‘original’ Grill on Prince and the Fiesta Grill on Kolb both burned down within months of each other. They were both go-to happy hour spots for me. The Kolb location recently reopened on Broadway where the old TGI Friday’s used to be– you can’t miss it driving by; they really did a number on the place. It’s absolutely beautiful inside and out. The restaurant is decorated tastefully and is full of natural light, and the bar is enormous. A couple other guys and myself decided to come here for lunch on Saturday. We all sat at the bar so we could watch the TVs and check out this new bar up close. Our bartender Meghan was amazing– she was so fun and sweet! She took superb care of us while flying solo working the entire bar, which was pretty crowded, as well as making all the margs and other drinks for the whole restaurant. I totally love it when my bartender makes me feel like she’s having such a blast that it isn’t just work to her, and that was Meghan’s vibe all the way. She also made awesome drink and food recommendations for us– I’m so glad we took her advice. I got this steak shrimp and chicken dish inside of a volcanic rock with a tomato cheese sauce and fresh tortillas– it came out molten hot and looked really unique. Never seen anything like it. It was DELICIOUS. All the guys I was with were jealous except for the dude who got this shrimp dish Meghan suggested, which was also fantastic. I also imbibed a couple specialty margaritas: house margs on the rocks made and garnished with fresh jalapeños. Super refreshing and yet another spot-on suggestion from my rockstar bartender. I will definitely be back for happy hour in the next week or so– I recommend you do the same :)!

This reeks of tampering. I have seen at least 4 reviews of this location in the last two weeks stating it was terrible and then looking today it has 4 stars. What gives Unilocal?Plus two of the high star reviews are first time reviewers. I think someone is gaming the system here. Makes me want to go there even less. Take your damn lumps and improve. Don’t cheat. EDIT: I see what happened. The original reviews were under Guadalajara Fiesta Grill. I don’t know who creates Unilocal entries but depending on which you search you will get a drastic difference!

We stopped in for lunch on Tuesday wasn’t super busy but it was starting to fill up me and my girlfriend sat at the bar as we usually do when we go out to eat because we like to be close to the booze. We we were promptly greeted by a familiar face from one of our other favorite restaurants in town that had just closed down. It was a treat to see Trevor behind the bar in this bed is more comfortable trying a new place. We were not disappointed I ordered the lunch special which was two chimichangas accordingly on Tuesday my girlfriend order the fish tacos and we were both surprised at how hot and fast they came out Trevor haven’t even finished making my girlfriends but he married before food at the Table at this point the restaurant was starting to fill up I saw another gentleman running around the dining room he looks familiar I asked Trevor and he said he was the old Chef from Trevor old restaurant he eventually made his way to the bar to check on our food which is almost gone at this point introduced himself as the general manager. All in all great experience good hot food for Lee familiar service will definitely be back next time we’re going for happy hour

I was pleasantly surprised. When going to a new restaurant location I would expect to experience a few«hiccups». However my experience was beyond expectations. Despite being quite busy our food came out very fast, I ordered the Chile Verde and it was exceptional, my girlfriend absolutely loved her Fajita Mini Chimis, our server informed us they are hand rolled in house. The service staff was attentive and knowledgeable. I am looking forward to my next visit.

My office ordered for pick-up. They took our order and it was repeated back perfectly. On arrival at the restaurant, the orders were all wrong AND they tried to charge us for dinners when we had ordered lunches. While fixing the incorrect orders, we told them that the rest of the food would get cold. We also explained that this would make us late back to work. This all fell on deaf ears. We had placed four orders and they wouldn’t even give us separate orders of chips and salsa. We got 2 and were told to share. Such a shame because the end product was actually quite tasty.

I was kind of excited when the hostess told me it would be a 40 minute wait until we could be seated. I hoped it was a ‘best things in life are worst waiting for’ situation. There were plenty of people waiting to be seated and the dining room was packed. But… Food wasnt anything special, the salsa and chips were pretty good. A lady asked us how spicy we wanted our salsa and made it from scratch in front of the table. That was pretty neat. Took over 30minutes to place an order. Another 30 until we got our food. Overall, slow service with average food with a price tag higher than most Mexican restaurants.
