Grand Luxe Hotel & Resort

My main thing with motels is cleanliness. And this one was. It was a basic Room. Clean shower and no bed bugs. The bed was firm but the pillows were flat. The AC on our heating unit didn’t work, but it was cold, so we didn’t need it. However the entire unit conked out on our last night, so we had no heat. Also the door deadbolt was broken. Despite all these things, for the price, a good option.

After talking to the hotel staff here its pretty fat in the management can’t even prioritize them properly how to clean rooms given supplies they need or even manage the damn place to make this all they have for the entire complex its ridiculous to have to do the laundry room clean the rooms and in some cases even cook for the hotel guests I hope the management sees this because it’s ridiculous that this place is literally a dump and it’s the fault of the management and not the hotel staff that works here and try to keep the place clean after speaking with them.

If it was possible I wouldn’t even put 1 star! The overall look of this place is just beyond ghetto. It looks as if it breeds crack addicts. The room was dirty and everything is just out dated. A TV from the 80’s and beds that were old, squeaky and uncomfortable. Do not stay here. I felt «germified» as soon as I stepped foot into the room!

Don’t let a fancy name, a nice logo and pretty pictures fool you. This place is a dump. Absolutely minimal, not well-​maintained, and a dismal feel overall. Dirty carpet, my microwave was filthy and had not been cleaned of whatever cheesy crap exploded inside… the refrigerator had a nasty musky smell. No plugs anywhere for cell phones or laptops. Even the non-​smoking rooms smelled of smoke. My first night, and the following morning, I was woken up by a big trashy family partying loudly and screaming in the hallway. I actually had to call security.
But worst of all, after having to dig up a do not disturb sign since one was not provided, was when the maid barged in while the sign was on the door, and I was yelling do not disturb… at 9:30 AM on the day I was checking out. (It was not even after checkout time, so there was no reason for her to open the door.) I was appalled.
It’s just a rat hole, avoid it. The only benefit is the waffle house across the street.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. We get to our room after check in and see there is a crusty used wash cloth hanging over the shower. Completely disgusting. This was only the beginning of the dirty towels. All towels stained brown. The sheets did not stay on the bed so by morning you’re sleeping on the mattress. Very filthy. In order to deadbolt the door, me and my boyfriend had to lean against it with all of our weight. When we complained about all of this, the woman at the front desk was very rude. Overall, would never stay here again and you shouldn’t either.
