3 weeks ago my grandpa had a yard sale to get rid of stuff he didn’t need anymore. My aunt who was in charge of this at the end put everything in a truck and took It to the donation center. Well today I went in to find something thinking it was a normal retail center trying to find or buy back a museum piece that’s probably worth over $ 300. Also thinking the store its donated to is the one its sold at. What do I see? Tons of stuff all shoved in one corner. The lady working(who was nice) said there’s furniture on furniture. When I went to look for the wood tripod she was(I can’t see why she doesn’t want to loose her job) yelling not to get any closer to that pile of stuff in the corner. I saw a doggy door they was also donated from that yard sale still there in that corner. The lady said where all the stuff would go and have a list of goodwill stores that donations will go to(every store in Tucson). I would give this place 3.5 stars but I can’t. The 3.5 because of service and friendless. They don’t seem to take really good care of your donations though. So that’s why it’s not 5.

They’re dedicated to books and that’s awesome, but I didn’t find anything I couldn’t have found at a regular Goodwill retail store in their book section. I’d go back if I absolutely needed to find a book, but I think for me this was just a one time visit.

Two-part Goodwill location. The store is exclusively books, music & dvds and the prices are CHEAP. The second, busier side of the location is a donation drop off. There’s a bell tripline when you drive up and someone always runs out to meet your car to help carry donations in. The staff are friendly & quick — they don’t mess around here. Great place to drop off donations for tax purposes — they were open until 7:30PM on December 31st(when I made a donation).

Goodwill operates a few outlet stores around Tucson and this is its bookstore. Cash only, but there’s a Wells Fargo ATM right next door. Books, DVDs, VHS, and vinyl, that’s all they stock. There is a donation center here too. Everything is ½ price, that is to say, ½ off of the marked price. The selection is good.

This Goodwill is dedicated exclusively to books, cds, etc. No clothes, furniture, or electronics. The money goes to providing jobs for people. The prices are aggressive here because I doesn’t believe they get a lot of traffic. The staff is super friendly and makes sure you get a good deal :~)
