I think this store is great. It is very clean and organized. The employees are super friendly too. The shelves have always been stocked every time I’ve gone. I just moved to Tucson/Vail/Corona de Tucson from New Mexico and I love Fry’s so much better than Walmart. It is really great.

The new grab station at the deli is a great… When it is stocked. Forty five minutes later I am still waiting at the stinkin deli for a couple of packages.

Couldn’t find Xylitol sugar and had to ask someone… The sales guy had stains on his shirt, was very rude and told me to ask a Manager. So I asked the Manager and he said he was too busy to help me so I walked out of the store and left my whole cart of food. Never going back to this Frys!

I am that guy who you always see wandering around lost and clueless in the grocery store. Atleast the people are very helpful and always willing to assist you in any way possible. It does get busy at times but you never have to wait in line too long and the self check out helps as well. They also have express lanes. The gas rewards are definitely something you wan to utilize. All in all a great store to shop at in Rita Ranch.

I thought I had written a review of Fry’s before. This is one of the larger grocery stores in Rita Ranch. They have a large selection of just about everything. This Fry’s comes with gas station, bakery and a deli counter. There is also a Starbucks on the inside. They have checkout lanes with cashiers and several self checkout positions. The store is clean and the people who work there are generally friendly and willing to help.

I am always impressed by the impeccable customer service I receive while grocery shopping here. Also, I am pleased with the quality of the produce/meats sold at this location. Bathrooms are always clean and tidy when I visit. So glad this is close to my house.

This is by far the one of the better grocery store around Vail area. Selection of diverse product lines and customer friendly workers. I pick this location over the one on 22nd Street.

The guys in the produce department are always so sweet and helpful! My only issue with this store is that they are basically wiped out in certain areas on Sundays(a popular shopping day?). Time to modify their grocery orders to accommodate their costumer base. :) Great place to shop otherwise :).

As much as I’m here I figured I should write a review. This is a pretty nice store as far as grocery stores go. I’ve always had great experiences with their very friendly staff, and they have good prices. Of course, being 15 minutes walking distance from my house with self-service a gas station available definitely gives it brownie points in my book. Their sushi station is very fun, and I know a lot of my neighbors appreciate the Starbucks. I love that they have a wellness machine in the store. With a family history of high blood pressure, I like checking mine every once and a while and seeing my BMI makes me stick to my exercise a bit more regularly. I also love their online coupons. I haven’t gotten into couponing(yet, there are lots of coupon queens who come to the store and their tiny grocery bills are rather tempting), but Fry’s online coupons tailored to my previous food purchases is an easy way to save some money I do have an issue with their customer service over the phone. I’ve called a few times to check if they have certain items or to ask about sales and events. I seem to always get wrong answers or the staff have no idea what I’m talking about. Better off just going on your own if you can. Their produce selection can also be abyssal at certain days/times. I’ve gone in to find them out of literally over half their produce. Kinda frustrating, but understandable I guess on busy days. I always try to shop earlier in the day now.

This location is THEBEST Fry’s in all of Tucson. The store is kept well stocked and clean. They recently renovated and reorganized the store about 12 – 18 months ago. It is where we do 90% of our grocery shopping.

So I ordered a cake a week before and it’s still not finish at the time they asked me when I needed it done. I called this morning and they told me it would be ready. Ridiculous Also the chicken I purchased was Rancid and they wanted me to pay for half for fresh chicken Safeway is much better and the service. Oh by the way in still sitting here waiting for this birthday cake. and they bring out the wrong cake. For my kids 5th birthday. Horrible

While it doesn’t meet my expectations like the Walmart Supercenter up the road, you could have a much worse grocery store in your neighborhood. My original review knocked the size of the crowd that generally occupied this grocery market, but over time I have learned how to avoid traffic issues — both foot and vehicular. If you can avoid the early morning /afternoon crowd over the weekends, Fry’s isn’t all that bad. In fact, this is one of the more sumptuous grocery stores in Pima County. Fresh sushi chefs and an olive bar are just two of the features here to add to the craft beer and liquor I spoke of in my original review. The customer service here is elite. The vast majority of the employees possess enough knowledge to guide you in the right direction if you are in search of a specific product. Whenever lines grow long, another lane promptly opens. The cleanliness of this Fry’s cannot be understated; especially given the load of business takes in on a daily basis. Despite the constant congestion, the employees here do an impeccable job of tidying this place up. There is a reason that Fry’s in Rita Ranch is constantly packed whereas Safeway struggles to fill half its parking lot. Sure, Fry’s is generally cheaper, but it also presents a much more attractive experience and better customer service. My opinion of this Fry’s location has improved drastically in recent months and it will remain the prime grocery store for me in Rita Ranch for as long as I live here.

I recently moved across town, but before I did, this was my go-to Frys location. Well, before they started remodeling, I mean. They have a pretty big clearance section where I snagged several great deals. The staff was usually friendly. The store was laid out with things easy to find. Then, they felt the need to stuff a Starbucks in this place and flip the entire store. It became more of a hassle to shop here than it was worth.

This is located in a very busy strip mall near Rita Ranch on the East side of town. I am new to town and was happy to see Fry’s is Krogers(I’m from the midwest). This is a nice store with wide aisles that are well lit and clearly marked. I am a HUGE fan of many of the Private selection products, which is their store brand. They have actually been revamping the private selection line and it has many gourmet and nice improvements ie. salt and pepper kettle chips, elderberry honey ham, panna cotta in the freezer section, fireroasted flat breads, cool frozen apps… Nice patio furniture and grills for puchase outside. In Michigan I did purchase a patio set from Krogers and it held up great! Nice floral department, very fresh and a good selection too! Redbox is there so you can pick up a checp dvd too. What I am blown away with is the sales on booze. That is illegal in Michigan. Many bottles were half off(smirnoff, three olives), 5 dollar discounts on absolute if you purchase two, deeply discounted patron, I have never, ever seen such amazing prices EVER. I am not sure how often they have these sales, but keep your eyes peeled. They have a pretty good selection too! The produce seemed fresh a reasonably priced. I picked up raspberries for 2.50, mangos were good, the limes were fresh, they even had fresh lychee nuts!

This is the Fry’s we shop at 95% of the time. The vegetable and fruit section is always full of fresh produce and well-stocked. Most of the employees in the produce section are happy to cut a cabbage in half for you or give you a sample of an orange so you can check the flavor. nice services like that. The store is very well managed and you will often see the manager on the floor checking shelves, greeting customers; really running the place.

I am specifically reviewing the bakery at this location. Now, Fry’s doesn’t exactly come to mind when I think of the bakery I most want to go to, but I wanted one of those birthday cakes with the thin picture wafer. We were having my little boy’s birthday party with a Star Wars theme and I ordered a cake with a picture of my son during Padawan training at Disneyland. The party was starting at 2:00, I ordered the cake to be ready at 1:00. I figured the less time we had with the cake, the less damage could be done to it. As it always turns out, my husband was ready way before me. He was just sort of waiting around while I was busy with my hair. So he asked, «Should I go get the cake?» What could possibly happen, right? He leaves. I finish getting ready. I make sure I have everything I need. Candles, camera, treat bags, everything has been checked off my list. The kids have been ready for a while. Where is my husband? He calls. me:(instead of answering«hello») where are you? him: I’ve been trying to call you. I dropped the cake me:(total, complete silence) him: hello? me: you’re kidding, right? him: NO! I dropped the cake. It’s windy and I was trying to open the door and blah, blah, blah(I sort of drifted out or passed out for a while) me:(quiet again) him: oh, so what, now you’re mad? me: uh. .. .no. .. . just. .. .well, go buy another one. I mean, what else can we do?(I was in a sort of daze really. I wasn’t even mad, just numb) him: OK, I’ll call you back As it turns out, he went back in with the remains of the first cake. The bakery people saw it and made him a whole new one — exactly the same as the first one– with the picture and all. AND. .. . wait for it. .. wait for it. .. .. for free! Yes, they didn’t charge him. Plus, they had it ready for him in about 10 minutes. They are complete life savers. I joked with my husband that the bakery people probably thought he had a super mean wife and felt bad for him. Either way, they saved the party and saved my husband some grief. Too bad nothing can save him from all the«cake dropping» snarky comments he’s been getting.
