Firehouse Subs

This is a great addition to Spectrum. There hasn’t been many choices here for a quick bite.
I was impressed with Firehouse Subs! The store has fun items to look at & the kids get a fire hat! It was clean, too!
Contrary to other reviews, the service was great! The cashier was very attentive, explained the menu & told us about their loyalty program. She checked in on us later to see if everything was okay.
We ordered the Turkey/​Bacon Ranch and the New York Steamer. We opted for the meals so we got chips & a soda. The total was around $ 20. The prices are more than Subway, but it is defiantly worth it! The New York Steamer was great — highly recommended!

Sandwiches deserve 5 stars. Service deserves negative 100 stars from this location. I love their food, but as of today I will never step foot in this location again. Service has continuously sucked and taken 20+ minutes for a single small cold sub.
Today I tried online ordering so I could beat the wait, so naturally as I walked in I went to the sign that says «Online Order Pickup» Of course only one employee was working the other cashier and was helping a couple that had no idea what to order for their friends. After I waited about 5 minutes, a woman walks up behind the couple. When the couple finishes their order, the employee starts to take the order of the woman. I said to her, «Wait, I’ve been waiting here to pick up an order??» She said no, you have to wait in this line. You’d think she’d say «oh» and quickly give me my order and then help the next woman. But no. Does she think Im just standing under this sign for fun? Why couldn’t she have told me to move to her cash register like any other decent employee would do? She literally took the woman who just walked in before me, who had been waiting there for over 5 minutes.
After she finally took the order from the other woman I said to her that I wish she had told me and I don’t know how I would have known not to stand where it says I should stand. She did not apologize and justified herself by saying she wouldn’t use both cash registers, like I could have assumed that or something. Then told me it was because the couple before me had a long order. Which for the record, I don’t care that they had a long order. That happens. I would have been perfectly happy if she didn’t let the next woman go before me. Not to mention this whole problem would have been fixed if there were any other employees at the front. I then said ok, I just wish you would have told me and not taken that woman who just walked in. Still she did not apologize. I was just shocked by this service. So after multiple negative experiences here, this was just the last straw.
Also, no matter how many times you tell them NO PICKLE on the side, you know what you’ll still get? A damn PICKLE.

We love this place! Working our way through the menu. Delicious! They strive for customer satisfaction for sure.

2 adults, friday night, 6 pm, not busy, ordering slow, only one cashier, tables were not clean, doing maintenance on the coke machine, only medium prices posted, yet cashier tried to upsell to a large. Cashier asked if we wanted a pickle, feels like cost saving, other store just gave us a pickle spear. Wife thought the woman cashier was kind of rude.
One combo, one just the sandwich,
Have been to other Firehouse around town, positive experiences. Been waiting for this one cause it is close to where we live. The amount of meat is much less here than we had at another Firehouse. After eating a whole sub, did not feel full.
No compelling reason to come back.

Love Firehouse Subs! So happy they opened one up closer to home. Bar none better than Subway, Quizno’s, Jimmy John’s or Jason’s Deli sandwiches!
Brand new location near the Harkins Theater in the Calle Santa Cruz plaza off the I-​19. Great place to meet before or after a movie for a bite. Very spacious, great for groups… The staff was very nice & friendly, and welcomed everyone that came through the doors!
Loved the décor too! A tribute to firemen & policemen & first responders, the interior design is cool & fun to see!
Now if you haven’t had a Firehouse sub or salad before, you’ll absolutely enjoy one! So much flavor, and they don’t skimp on the toppings!
Definitely gonna continue coming back for more…
