I started taking drumming lessons here about 4 months ago, and I absolutely love this place. It is very comfortable, safe, and welcoming to students of all ages and skill levels. The school itself has a really fun relaxed vibe that I appreciate. Erik goes above and beyond to make sure that we work on songs and material that I find interesting, so it’s a very personalized experience. All of the staff has been great to deal with, from the front desk to the other instructors, and I foresee taking lessons here for years. If you’ve ever wanted to just try drumming, they offer a crash course as well as a longer 101 class, and private instruction for continuing students. I highly recommend Drum & Drummer School of Music!

First, I’m not a drummer but I am a musician. I stopped in to pick up a used snare drum for a child and met a very friendly woman who helped me pick one out. I’ve had the drum for about three weeks now and love it. Price was great, the front counter staff was the only one I met but was friendly and helpful. I could hear drums being played in one of the back rooms — muffled by sound proofing but still a good sound. As my son gets older and needs lessons I’d definitely consider taking him here for lessons.

I am having SOOOO much fun drumming… really glad I found this place! My 7-​year-​old is playing grooves and learning songs, and I have earned my yellow sticks. Now working on orange — plenty of new challenges, and Eric is a great teacher (the school is loaded with good teachers). If you haven’t tried it, you are missing out — go to Crash Course (call them and ask, or see the website) and check it out!

Eric Truelove is a fantastic instructor. My son has been going to him for over a year now & I feel that my son has learned more this year then he has with his last instructor at previous schools. Private & group lessons are very affordable & they have lessons for all different times & days of the week.

One of the coolest places to go if you are even the slightest bit into drumming. My dude Erik Truelove has something good going, but don’t just take my word for it, go play some drums or take a workout class and see for yourself !

Just walk in the door and you will know why it’s such a great place for children and adults to learn drumming. There’s practice rooms, group and individual lessons, plus summer programs. Friendly staff. Awesome boutique. They have it all!

I rented a 5pc set in a practice room for about 3 hours. They have a very friendly and helpful staff with a well-​kept practice room in Tucson, AZ. A single overhead microphone into a Mixer with an open channel for MP3-​IPOD music player’s makes it great for practicing to audio tracks. No one ever interrupted me. The ventilation system is cool and quiet. The room was well isolated from external sounds. In all, Practice quality drums and cymbals in a comfortable and private setting made this a relaxing and enjoyable experience for renting an acoustic set by the hour.

This place Rocks! Not only is the staff wonderful, Erik is an amazing teacher. My 6 year son can’t wait for his lessons. Erik does an amazing jobs with kids, especially a beginner like my guy. I highly recommend Drum & Drummer if you have a rocker at home!

First and foremost the staff is fantastic. So knowledgeable and also super friendly. They can help you no matter what level of experience you are at. Erik is a great instructor.
The practice facilities are comfortable and inviting. As soon as you walk in the front door you can tell a lot of care and detail went into making everything perfect.
A wide variety of lessons are offered at a range of price-​points, which in this economy is certainly welcome.

This place opened three weeks ago. They offer a few services:
–drum lessons
–hourly drum rehearsal room
–spin class for drummers
–drum equipment sales
–drum repairs
–monthly drumset rentals
I stopped in today and for 14 bucks, I rented a rehearsal room for an hour and purchased a pair of drum sticks. When I called on the phone with questions prior to my session, they were helpful and informative. When I arrived, they were expecting me and treated me great.
I am left handed, and the owner came and rearranged the kit for me.
I also have a vintage kit, which I will be bringing by for repairs. Finding a place that repairs a drumkit from 1976 is no easy task, trust me.
The only reason they lost a star is because the kits aren’t great sounding and cymbals are B8’s. I understand why, but I would totally love some nice gear to rehearse on.
I’ll be back!
