CODAC Behavioral Health Services

I’ve been with this agency for about four years now and I can honestly say it’s one of the worst things that has ever happened to me. I was assaulted outside their office which led to my left eye basically being destroyed after which they court ordered me to force me to keep coming after I stopped. Three years later I am preparing for another cornea transplant due to the assault and I am forced to go to CODAC THREE times a week to get my non-​narcotic medication. I am on social security now from having my cornea being in rejection and being mostly blind but CODAC put me on a payee without reason so they ha e control of that too. I’ve been trying to obtain records of all of this for the past eight months and have heard no response even after four formal requests.

I heard promising things about CODAC and was looking forward to working with some of the great case managers I met during the interview process. However, I was ignored by HR for nearly 7 weeks after receiving an initial offer of employment! There is a horrible lack of clear communication from HR. One of their own employees told me, «I don’t know why you would still want to work here after this treatment.» I hope, for their members’ sakes, they are more helpful and efficient in helping their population than they are in hiring and retaining new employees.
