Circle K

I was visiting this Circle K on a Saturday night and I walked in and grabbed a bag of fritos to purchase so that I could get $ 10.00 cash back. When I was being rang up by a man whom was working I asked him if I could purchase a scratch off lottery ticket, he asked me for my ID and I said oh no never mind, since I had left my ID in the car and it was pouring rain outside, I told him to please forget it. He proceeded to lecture me saying that I am young and I need to carry my ID at all times, I said «okay I understand, can you please ring me up for my fritos and forget the lotto ticket?» After he rang me up I noticed that he charged me twice for the bag of fritos, when I brought this to his attention he seemed so annoyed and irritated by me and said he could not refund me for the extra bag, another woman (the red head that the previous Unilocal reviewer mentioned) who worked there and was near him looked over at the register and said to me: «Can’t you just go grab another bag since we charged you for two and make this thing a whole lot easier?» Because I (the paying customer) was the one who caused the problem??? So I went and grabbed a bag and left, to make the staffs lives «easier»… I am absolutely disgusted with how I was treated by the staff at this location. I go to Circle K on a weekly basis to get something to drink, a snack between class and work and to get my gas. I will now go out of my way to not patron this business after this incident. I am fully aware that all walks of life go to circle K but I in no way deserved to be treated this way, I did absolutely nothing wrong. I work at a retail store and have worked in retail for years and I can NEVER EVER imagine dismissing a customers return if I did something wrong on my end, If I have ever mis-​charged a customer I fix it and apologize. The circle K staff literally did not even apologize for the inconvenience or for mis-​charging me, they did not care at all, which is honestly mind blowing to me. I’m not the type of person who expects over the top customer service but the way I was treated was absolutely disgusting and WRONG.

Oh my god I have never met such a rude lady in my life. Beware of the redheaded witch behind the counter. I’m sorry, are you bothered by the fact that you are 30 and working here? Maybe you should of thought of that before you put off college. Zero customer service skills.
