Michael was our engagement AND wedding photographer. He did an excellent job taking photos of us and our crazy family! Both my husband and myself are photographers (not really professionally for the most part, mostly just for fun) so we are super picky about things like this. We loved Michael’s photo journalistic approach and also the fact that he does a lot of candid photos and less of the posey «now tilt your head this way» stuff that many photographers do! We are a very candid couple and there is never a dull moment with our friends and family. Michael caught some hilarious moments from our wedding and now we will cherish these photos forever. I can’t wait to show our kids photos of their grandfather dancing on the floor or of their dad smashing cake into my ear ;)
We do plan to use Michael again in the future for things like family portraits. If you are looking for a photographer for anything, do seriously consider Michael! You won’t be disappointed!

Michael recently took photos for my wedding and he did a wonderful job. He moved around and got a lot of photos of various different settings as we all got ready, he directed the family photos with ease and he captured amazing candid moments throughout the night. My husband and I live in Alaska so we had very little discussion about any planned poses, locations, etc. and he worked with us as if he’d been to the venue hundreds of times and new all the places to take us and take pictures.
Within one day, Michael completed a website with all our edited photos where our guests could order prints or digital copies. He also provided us with a disc of all the photos which arrived before we got home from the honeymoon.
I would highly recommend Michael Chansley for your photography needs and I will hire him again if I’m in need of a photographer in Arizona again.

We chose Michael Chansley for our engagement and wedding photos and are extremely happy! For the engagement shoot, there was bad weather and Michael was more than happy to reschedule! Our wedding and reception were on different days and he was there for both events, preserving our happiest moments! My husband and I have been married for over 4 years now and I still look back on the photos and remember the best day (s) of my life, thanks to Michael!

Michael Chansley was the perfect wedding photographer to work with for our special day. We chose him after looking at his work online and because the Saguaro Buttes recommended him. We loved his more journalistic style photography. On the day of, I’m not going to lie, I was a little nervous about having a photographer follow us around. My husband and I not generally super into being the center of attention, which is something you have to get over quickly on your wedding day ;)
We loved working with him and Michael’s photos came out amazing! I thought I’d look nervous or super stiff but I didn’t. We have so many photos of us that I had no idea he was taking, smiles, laughter, they look so natural (because they were). When he’d give us direction it was helpful, to the point, but kind and fun. We loved working with him, and we can’t wait to see the amazing photo books he’s putting together for us!

From the planning process to artistic execution, Michael planned our photo shoot to perfection. His enthusiasm for his art was more than we had expected. The outcome of the photo shoot helped our business with all of its branding goals — from the web site to our brochures.
As a smaller company, we needed some guidance on how to organize the shoot. Michael helped us with nearly every question we had about how to search for the right elements for our project. I would recommend Michael to anyone seeking professional photography and invaluable creative input.

Chansley Photo did such an amazing job with my sister’s Tucson wedding! As a wedding gift, I booked and paid for photography, and I am SO pleased that I booked with Chansley. They were very professional, but put us at ease on what could have been a very stressful day. The photos of four generations of the ladies of our family getting ready for my sister’s special day are something we will treasure for years to come. Great price for such gorgeous photography. Could not be happier!
