Tried to check-in at this park on my iPhone today and realized that I couldn’t because its Unilocal page didn’t exist yet! I am surprised that there isn’t already a list of reviews for this legend of a park. AKA as 4th Avenue Park. This is the perfect park for people-watching and if you want to capture the view of a nice sample of 4th avenue culture. Often goings on include various types of music-playing; hippie gathering; hacky sack and frisbee playing; dog-training. The playground was recently revamped thanks to some generous funding and now boasts the city’s finest park shade structure, complete with gorgeous wood beams and Spanish tile roof. What used to be the wading pool for toddlers is now a large fountain. Great place to park yourself on a bench and eat lunch on a sunny day. This park inspires the feeling that you’re in the heart of Tucson.
